Lakers should do it while Brooklyn is desperate and better with their backups. i'd throw Lin in there too if he were tradable :pimp:

That still keeps Kobe on the roster. They can try waiving him.

Lopez is not good at rebounding Kobe assists

kobe does crush their cap. almost everyone on that team are signed to cheap bargain contracts but they're still over the cap due to Kobe's salary.

still tho, lopez may be soft but Hill can make up for that. both Hill and Lopez have some of the best big man mid range shots in the league. they still tank this season away get a good lottery pick for PG or SF, get Randle back next year, and they could be good :pimp:

just not EZ to find good big men even with Lopez being injury prone its a great deal and perfect time to pull it IMO.

Why on earth would the nets do this? You can take Deron for Lin and Nash though if you want.

Got to be a pick going to the Nets in that deal. This year if not conveyed to the Suns or the next available.

77 mil total, Kobe takes 23 mil out of it...Even if he was paid 10 mil less, we'd be over the cap by a big margin right now...

Lin, Hill & Nash combine for 33.5 mil, Kobe's effort alone > what they are being paid right now...

Anyways, we'll have more than enough cap space for a max player in the off-season + the potential lottery pick, Kobe is worth the money at the end of the day, it's not like we would be better off without him.

And Lakers would be idiots to go for Brook Lopez, who has had health issues for the last 4 seasons and is putting up subpar numbers this year...even worse that he has a player option for next season, no thank you :facepalm
