Nothing to do with me winning or losing at 2k.

Check my stats: MrTrueNetwork PSN.

2k is terrible they said they would fix the 3's but it still ridiculous. Any decent shooter can shoot over 60% from 3 (every game). How ridiculous this game is. Centers defend like guards, I was playing MyTeam challenges. My team was facing a bunch of centers from PG position to Center. Wilt, Kevin Love were running at the same speed as John Wall? Klay Thompson? **** that shit. It became a global phenomenon all because of hype. They have no room for improvement, Live on the other hand worked their asses off and came out with this more than amazing game. Presentation is cool, gameplay is amazing. you can actually defend in this game unlike 2k and unless you use CPU defense anybody can blow by you. The cameras in Live are better especially that ESPN/broadcast. You really feel like you are watching a game liveo on TV. Tutorial makes it easier to understand the little changes they added to the controls.

I somewhat agree, I played them both and Live seemed just as good. Only thing is Live's franchise mode sucks... badly. Needs to be more customizable.

I have not played them, but I read this review.
Summary:
Even during its brightest moments, NBA Live 15 isn't a very fun basketball game. Effective offense is a struggle to achieve, and defense is far too automated to keep you interested. Even with individual players looking better up close, NBA Live 15 fails to present an attractive package when all ten bodies are running plays on the court. EA is headed in the right direction with this struggling franchise, but compared to NBA 2K15, Live feels like it's playing for a roster spot in the D-League.

Live sucks...

But you are right bout the flaws in 2k15

What's even more annoying is when you're wide open from 3 and the defender is in the paint, and you can get your shot blocked :kobe:

After reading this thread i went to play 2K and noticed that a lot of the bigs have their OBIQ (On ball IQ) in the high 80's to 99...WTF. The legends are rated way to damn high in their attributes. This explains why it's so hard to get bigs off of your PGs.

I've played 2K15 a week ago with my friends and the only thing I remember about the 3s is that I've missed a couple wide open with A+ and hit some with hand in my face.

The % overall was quite normal 5 for 12, 4 for 8, something like that. We pretty much played with All-star squads.

Play on superstar and put the 3pt shot to about 46.

I have a whole list of custom sliders I use when I go against my broseph.

Yikes, troll thread?

Played Live for a bit, ultimately they're a couple years behind 2k. Players seem mechanical, teams don't seem to play as units. Hard to take someone seriously when they use gameplay as a positive for Live.

Not to say 2k is without its issues. Servers still aren't great, there's a fair amount of clipping on animations, some animations are just trash and have predetermined outcomes, impossible to stand behind the corner 3pt line manually, some shot timings are impossible (Korver for instance).

But if you're trying to suggest that Live is even in the ballpark gameplay-wise, definitely trying way too hard here to be edgy. Reminds me a lot of 2k11 last gen, which was a solid product, but still very rudimentary. Nothing has come within miles of 2k in terms of simulating actual basketball of 2k15 with the newest update (Patch 3). It's not even a contest.

If this idiot thinks Live's GAMEPLAY, of all things, is better than 2K's...

Pretty much. :oldlol:

I'm thinking maybe he just wasn't running plays and was trying to isolate or bull rush into the defense. AI D logic is much improved this year (online or offline).

Bro, you obviously haven't played Hall of Fame mode.

Try chucking up 3s in a SIM league with Hall Of fame, you won't win.

2k is the better series but its WAY too easy to hit 3s. Stupidly so.

I get it that no one wants to ACTUALLY shoot 33% on 3s in a video game. But you can make over half your 3s. Shouldn't be like that unless you're playing with Korver or Curry

If you want to stop your opponents from hitting 3s, you gotta play defense. NBA2K15 is a huge improvement over 14. I haven't played Live15, but if it's anything like 14, then it's the biggest pile of sh*t I've ever seen.

this post is just dumb as ****. I don't even play Live but I wouldn't even say such a thing as a 2K only player. You act like 2K15 is gonna get better as Live keeps progressing each year. Hell 2K15 isn't even fun with how bad teammate AI is this year and don't let me get started on the animations. 2K is getting so animation heavy that we barely have any control of the players anymore.

I disagree, look I've been a fan of live since 99. I bought all the live game til 10 then bought 2k11 one of the most stupid games ive ever had the chance to play. When you on offense all you needed to do was a tap on any direction using the joystick of your controller and the defender will just react like a moron. Player is open for 3....BANG! Animations are pure garbage, it does not matter what you do, there is certain animations you can not defend.
Another stupid 2K thing, when a big is under the basket, he just grabs his rebound, it does not matter if you Dwight or if you Cousins or whoever, you suppose to dunk that shit straight especially when a guard is trying to guard you. I mean it's called size advantage for a reason, I bully you. 2K does not believe in that. They believe in as long as there is a presence felt near your big, under the rim, its good enough to make him miss. Size don't matter in this game. :facepalm With Live you can actually run plays and the floor loks spacious. You have room to actually create, make plays I don't know what Live 15 y'all played but Live is massively better.

Have you even play Live 15? or you just reading the comments on youtube. 2K became what Live was years ago. Its the new FIFA. Even tho I've been a loyal fan to FIFA for years. PES is just a better game. FIFA is just like 2K. They add patches and sorta change the design but gameplay is the same or worse than the previous game they put out. They give you the same game every year. Add more animations just to make the game look nice but in fact it's GARBAGE.

Then you haven't played 2k14 or 2k15. Team defense doesn't overreact to anything now. There were two exploits (a behind the back pass, and zig-zagging with the ball) that broke the AI, but both were fixed in the third patch.

There are some animations that have high success rates, but nothing is pre-determined. Play disciplined defense, stay on your feet with your hands up, and call timely doubles.

Huh???? Size is everything this year, so much that people are complaining that it's TOO BIG a determining factor in how matchups play out. It takes priority over attributes if anything, which is why big seven footers are rebounding much better than a guy like Rodman

2K does not believe in that. They believe in as long as there is a presence felt near your big, under the rim, its good enough to make him miss. Size don't matter in this game. :facepalm
You have to take it strong to the hole. Hold down R2 and use the shot stick when you're right outside the restricted area, and as long as your guy is big enough and has the right badges, you'll dunk, and won't miss.
With Live you can actually run plays and the floor loks spacious. You have room to actually create, make plays I don't know what Live 15 y'all played but Live is massively better.
Because there's no semblance of organized team defense in Live! Every player acts independently of the others. C'mon dude.

I'm not going to respond in this thread because I think you're trolling. But if you're being sincere, try what I said about dunking (here's a video about the drop step: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvbnNfP_JVg follow the same basic shit and you can dunk off a spin move or the hook drive). As for the spacing, change the camera angle to 2k Cam or Beluba, or another view. Gives you a better view of the half court, and you can see which areas are open/congested.

I played over 300 games online only NBA 2k14, and I'm close to 100 games online in nba 2k15. My record is solid and I know how to play this game. Do not believe me, play me. PSN: MrTrueNetwork
