It really does suck we were robbed of 25ish games of Durant this year at or near his peak, because I'm guessing there's a 99.9% chance he would've repeated as MVP. His overall feel for the game, even though we've only got about 10 games this season to go off of, is noticeably better on both ends of the floor.

You mean the guy he averaged 30 and 10 against in last years playoffs?

He looks scary good right now. Am I the only one that seems to think he has a different demeanor/confidence in his game this year? I kinda get the impression that he now truely believes he's the best in the game, and is embracing it. It's hard to believe he's been barely able to walk for the last 3 months with the exception of about 3 or 4 weeks

He's playing with extreme confidence, I just hope this translates to playoff success.

As a lifelong Bran fan I'm glad Durant is the guy next in line. He's the only perimeter player who I think can rival Jordan in scoring.

What can they get for Westbrook while his stock is high? It can't be Rondo now. Westbrook is the guy that is holding Durant's stats back, which is what matters to OP. Imagine a world without Westbrook, Durant would win MVP after MVP :pimp:

Best player on the planet, and to my knowledge based on scientific evidence, best player in the universe.

We're witnessing greatness. Another biblical performance by KD last night.

Based on what? The league's performance in its collective last 10 quarters?

It'll be better for him and the Thunder come playoffs. We already knew he could dominate the regular season, that goes without saying. Now it's time to bring in the hardware.

We should be thankful to see him play.. I don't think anyone will stand in his way this post-season.. he's the best player on the planet and on his way to forming himself a top 15 legacy. And I do still think he can win MVP.
