In 2012 he had something to prove, I don't understand why he doesn't play with this level of intensity night in night out.

Miami made him a good defender.

LeBron was an elite defender in Cleveland before tho.

Unfortunately for Cleveland, trying more on defense is gonna hurt him on the offensive end, and his legacy is hinging on more MVPs and better stats.

He got away with playing shitty defensive in Miami to preserve his 60% FG and play like crazy offensively.

Lebron just teasing the gay bois. He will kick it into his actual gear come march. He is just being Wade like at the moment wanting people to doubt him and light a fire under him.

And who's gonna light a fire under the 35-win team playing alongside this fired-up LeBron?

Most these plays just look like he's either fouling or some dummy is running into him while he's been standing there for like a day.

So Melo is a dummy?

I would actually agree, but aren't you a knicks fan?

Call me crazy but.. he hasn't been elite since 2010 in Cleveland. Miami life took the edge he had defensively and made him far more lax.

2011 and 2012 he used to shut down whomever he wanted and whenever he wanted.

2013 he could also do it at times. Did a great job on Tony Parker.

No, Chandler and B-diddy are dummies.

True. Game 6 and 7 of the finals especially.

.
indeed OP, he was for a couple years.. a lot lower on the chase-downs nowadays though, but at least the refs still got his back.

This season he's been mediocre at best. His elevation has completely gone, hopefully this rest will get him back to peak physical condition.
