Manu has played more than 30 mpg TWICE in his career........career average of 27 MPG

Duncan hasn't played more than 34 mpg since he was 29.....

Both guys pushing 40 and still performing at high levels, despite going DEEP into the playoffs practically EVERY year.

What am I getting at?

Dudes can play at a very high level if teams MANDATE strict minutes restrictions when guys start to hit age 30.......or even sooner(Manu).

Granted relying on skill has also played a huge role for these guys.

This is why Lebron is going to suffer as he continues post 30, he's never had a coach manage his minutes. The one thing I regret as a Heat fan was how we took for granted Lebron in 2014, resting Dwyane but giving no thought on how this would affect Lebron. I don't think Lebron leaves if Dwyane Wade doesn't rest as much in the regular season and plays a lot better in the finals.
