Derrick Rose is absolute garbage in the first half at home. The bulls are shooting 27% as a team so far.

He's been having atrocious starts lately. But always pick it up in the fourth.

When are the Bulls going to get rid of Rose and build around Butler?

Box score watching but damn that minute distribution for the Celtics. 11 guys played, all 12+ minutes, eight of them 15+.

Aaron Brooks and E'twaun Moore came in and held it down in the early 4th quarter. I liked Moore when we drafted him; a lot f*cking more than I liked Ja'juan Johnson anyway.

The play was...Evan Turner take a fadeaway with 18 left on the shot clock?

Somehow, I doubt that.

Gasol carried us. A solid win considering we were without our best player as well as another starter. That said, Rose is ice cold right now. He is consuming a lot of possessions at atrocious efficiency. Can he go to the hoop more? A big reason he does better in the 4th quarter is he drives more then instead of settling for 20-25 foot shots as he often does in the first 3 quarters. Rose's shot will rebound a bit from this cold streak but he is not a good enough shooter, even when shooting at his normal level, to justify the amount of long range and semi-long range shots he takes in his current iteration.

Agreed. After 2 years of working on his jumpshot (his words) it seems flatter than ever. I am okay with him being a 14-17 pt a night guy with 7-8 assists and let jimmy, pau and nikola start shooting more.

Nikola at the SF was pretty solid. He held Jeff Green down pretty well. Not sure if he can handle SF for a whole season, but would love for his minutes to go up.
