When he wins another Chip with the bulls...and a potential FMVP (depends on rose), he will punch his ticket for sure. He is straight ballin. Best FA signing of the year and it's not even close.

Defensively his blocks were just insane tonight especially in the 4th quarter and overtime.

He shoots lots of 12-18 footers. Not bad considering.

Should be sad being a Pau hater at this point, I guess you'll miss the last few years when you used him as a scapegoat.

Millsap shut him down.
He shot 6 for 15 with 12 Reb and 4 Blks. Millsap shot 6 for 16 with 8 Reb and 0 blks. Millsap's game is 6-10 feet. Pau's is 12-18. He missed some shots. Was not shut down. You never bring any stats or logic to your comments. Please stop.

I never blamed Pau for LA's post-season flop jobs. But his career post-season record speaks for itself. Without Kobe...not even ONE playoff win. And to be honest, Pau's post-season play after LA's second title in '10 has been pretty bad.

He does have a solid team around him now...so who knows? BUT, if Chicago somehow doesn't get very far in the playoffs...guess who will get blamed?

Funny you hate on Pau for fg% when u suck off Wilt and his pathetic free throw shooting.

I don't "hate" on Pau's CAREER eFG%, which is actually decent at .515 (in leagues that shot an eFG% of about .490 in that same span)...

but a .474 eFG% in a league that is currently shooting an eFG% of .499 is pretty bad for a seven-footer don't you think?

BTW, Wilt MADE about 2000 MORE FTs in his 14 year career, than Pau has in his 15 year career.

Furthermore, Wilt's FG%'s were close to 10% higher than the league average in his career, and he has seasons in which he shot over 20% higher (hell, nearly 30% in '73.)

As good as those great players are/were, they still need a good team around them to compete.

Point is Pau got tossed under the bus time and time again, mainly by the fans, despite what he brought for the Lakers since joining them. I would bet Pau felt like shit when he constantly get bashed and in the eyes of the fans, such as yourself, there'd only Bean Bryant who seemingly could do no wrong. His game or confidence definitely took a hit from that point.

Glad he found a team that would appreciate n utilize him properly

Really? Has it come to this. Please tell me you're mocking those fvckwits that only use FG% to hate on Kobe.

This is why Pau gets blamed by Lakers fans. He sulks in the 2011 playoffs and plays so poorly Phil Jackson punches him in the chest and tells him to wake up. A few months later he is playing with passion for Spain in the EuroBasket games and they win the title.

In the 2012 playoffs he is garbage once again but magically he goes beast mode in the Olympics a few months later.

In 2013 with Dwight and Nash, he is once again garbage and gets swept. Kobe with bums in 2006 won 3 games vs the Suns.

He went from averaging 20 pts on .56 % fg from 08-10 to 13 ppg on .44 % fg from 2011-2013 in the playoffs. I mean people rag on Kobe for shooting under .50 % but Pau is a 7 footer and shot under .50 % for 3 straight playoffs for a big man.

Gasol had no help in Memphis..

He plays too many minutes per game. That is the reason he performs worse in the playoffs, and if he continues playing 35 min per game, he will probably do this time, too.

imagine if kobe took the same paycut Gasol took. Lakers would have been in good shape with Kobe, Gasol and Randle going forward. Could have easily been involved in the Rondo trade as well.
