If he was still any good they wouldn't have waived him. Just a backup at best now.

The original trade was ridiculous and made no sense. Phil is getting exposed right now.

Would be nice to have him on the Warriors but I don't know who we'd give up. We can't let go of Speights right now.

Back to Mavs?
Actually wouldn't mind that. We'd only need like 15 minutes a game. Greg Smith has proven he can play a real role on this team.
Dalembert could play that Haywood role from the 11 championship team pretty well in my opinion.

Get him back to Dallas!
They can't sign him because they traded him away in the summer.

Knicks are full of d-leaguers too, and their d-leaguers are better than the Knicks d-leaguers. KJ Mcdaniels, Tony Wroten, Henry Sims. Those dudes blow the doors off of THJ, Wear, Jason Smith, Acy, Larkin

about 2-3 years late...we should have chased him before signing with Dallas. signing him now does little for the Heat, definitely stick with Whitehead and hope he flourishes

Melo has maybe 3 prime years left. I'm not sure who is going to be willing to sign up for that considering that the Knicks are a long way away from being a contender or anything. They might not even be able to put a good team together before Melo's prime is nearly done.

Drops Daye (I'd also add Errors but at least he knows his role) and pick him up.
Good rebounder and he knows what he can do.
