literally the play IMMEDIATELY after he got fouled (no call) on a dunk attempt. Had to go back for a second attempt and take KDs soul too :applause:
The replay angle shows him smashing one on Durant much better

you can't blame durant... here's the problem with this play - a guy that barely gets 20 dunks a year (klay), gets to see a wide open lane when he turns the corner and make a poster, just because today's rules don't allow durant to stay in the paint without being within armslength (http://www.nba.com/nba101/misunderstood_0708.html) of his man - so durant goes towards the edge of the paint to stay within "armslength", and consequently, he's late coming over.
so blame the era for letting klay have it so easy - defenders in previous eras didn't have to be within armslength to stay in the paint, so durant would have been waiting under the rim the whole time, likely alongside other defenders... under these circumstances, klay and his 20 dunks a year, wouldn't have even TRIED to dunk.
and look at westbrook hugging curry while the bigs are 25 feet from the basket - this is fine and everything - i'm not complaining about the brand of basketball, i'm just saying that when evaluating players from different eras, it doesn't make sense to say it is harder to score today, when the paint defense is so vastly inferior to any previous era.

3 second rule doesn't have much to do with this. Why would KD be camping in the paint when he's matched up with Barnes, who is a lethal 3 pt shooter from the corners?
I would need to see the full play, but from this it looks like poor positioning by Adams. He should have cut off Klay's drive instead of making a half hazard steal attempt.

Even looks like a Rookie mistake.
Adams had a mental image they were playing the Spurs and it was Manu driving while he was trying to guard Tim Duncan.......... not Marreese Speights

Adams missed the rotation that's all. Also notice Ibaka standing there doing nothing

the penetrator just split the double-team badly and durant was the only line of defense at the rim - the correct strategy is to stay and contest, rather than abandon the rim as the last line of defense - but 3 seconds prevented durant from doing this, because he had to stay within armslength of barnes.

You're getting cocky my friend. These Warriors are for real. Before you know it Old Man Riverwalk's gonna be home after 4 games, fapping to the splash bros spreading open whichever sorry team they face in round 2.
