I mean students who literally came from China/Japan just for study, not Asians born in the UK. So hard to spit game at Chinese chicks when they all travel in herds.
Maybe it is to protect themselves from you "spitting game" at them.
Why do foreigners in China and Japan always band together? It's stressful being in a place where you can't speak your language and you are unfamiliar with everyone's behavior. Being around people of the same background helps alleviate the stress and anxiety of constantly being a foreigner.

It must be hard to go to another country where the people speak a different language, look and act different and just integrate. Why are you trying to get at international students though, whats wrong with British Chinese girls?
American students band together too when they go other countries.
Gonna give you a little tip for spitting game at those Chinese chicks. If you can't find an approach, download this app: http://www.wechat.com/en/ . Go to the discover tab and use the "people nearby" feature. If you are in an area with plenty of mainland Chinese there's bound to be a few lonely Chinese girls using that feature.

probably because college is pretty racist with cliques in general. there tons of black people who only hang out with black people, especially the black frats. white people tend to be like 95% white crews, a azn or black dude thrown in here and there. white frats are easily 95% whities. the foreign azns used to hang out in front of the library smoking cigarettes all the time from what i remember...but most of the girls are timid and scared of foreigners. most foreign azn girls especially from China, korea, etc. are real naive and timid. drugs have big time bans in those countries and their socieities frown heavily on people who do them, and they think America has a lot of shady mf'ers which we do.
you're better off trying to get poosee from a american azn girl, a lot of the ones who grew up in the states are ho's. or go to a azn country and try picking up girls there, its probably easier than being one in a million white/black dude here hitting on them.

You tend to be friends with individuals who are similar to yourself. Whether that's intereste, beliefs, or culture. I thought that would be common sense? :facepalm

asians love shaved heads, when I was on campus I saw an asian rubbing the shaved head of a white dude and giggling about it 3 different times, they love it
must be because all asians are rocking crazy poof hair nowadays so its something different for them

There's a difference between attending a university as an american student and american students going to a country to visit.
It's much easier to mingle with the locals as a student rather than just visiting. To me, I don't understand why these foreign students stick to their similar people. Defeats the whole purpose of being an international student and traveling international.

Get some Chinese friends and hang out at their place they share with 10 other Chinese all day. You will understand. It's mentally exhaustive. Even if you know the language very well (which most students or expats don't), it's mentally exhaustive. To have to deal with that all day every day is unbearable.
Living in a little bubble and only associating with people of your own color isn't good either, but a healthy balance definitely includes having a ton of friends who come from your own culture.

they're still exposed to pretty much that whole country in everything else they do, even if they disassociate with native students. most want to learn english and probably get a better education. befriending americans or whoever probably isn't their top priority.
besides most people tend to hang around their set crews and not go out of their way to meet others anwyehre, once they're established a crew or social circle at least.
not to mention having similar cultural backgrounds and ways of life goes a long way in getting along with the people you meet to hang out.

This app is really amazing. I really hope it catches on in the US sometime. It blows everything else out of the water imo.

Sure. Healthy balance is the way to go. I travel to places where I can avoid americans though to purposefully put myself in uncomfortable positions. I've never had to live somewhere that english wasn't the mother tongue though.
I still think I would avoid large group of americans though. Unless I was in Saudi or the like.

Right but you never know when having those international connections can help you.

Those are monks and they are not allowed to be touched. So if anything they only added to the asian fascination with shaved heads and how they feel.

Asian immigrants have long been known for forming some of the strongest social and economic enclaves. One of their primary reasons for "success" in America.

Same with the Eastern Europeans who have come to England in recent years. They never integrate in any way whatsoever and refuse to speak English. I wish they would bloody go home but that is not happening any time soon.

Prolly the same reason white people hang together, and black people.
