@NotoriousOHM Was told Nets + OKC recently talked involving Lopez, K. Perkins (expiring deal), P. Jones, L. Thomas but stood pat liking how they've played

@NetsDaily
League source confirms @NotoriousOHM report of discussions re Lopez between BKN and OKC but says talks didn't advance to formal offers.

With OKC now having Dion Waiters it's possible that these talks advance further if OKC is willing to throw Reggie Jackson in the deal.

They are really terrible at trades. Really really terrible.

He's a bad defender and bad rebounder and gets hurt all the time.

Wouldn't make them better, unless you think him and KD sharing the same injury to the foot will offer KD tutelage on it :lol

Brooklyn has to do something to get closer to the luxury tax threshold.

What is a point of this? It's not like the Thunder needs another scorer after getting Waiters and that is probably the only thing Brook does well

Brook is an amazing inside scorer and could shoot 60-70% alongside Durant and Westbrook.

I meant OKC. You guys make terrible trades like it's your job. Horrific FO except for drafting which is somehow like top 3.

Did this dude just call perkins, pj3, and lance thomas for brook lopez a horrific trade?

your team just willingly traded for JR ****ing Smith :roll:

Perkins is useless so this would be a good deal. Obviously Lopez has his problems staying healthy and doesn't do much besides score but that's really all they would need him to do.

I hope you are enjoying your harden and Kendrick Perkins trades.

OKC doesn't play with two basketballs. Stop getting players who can only score. And your 3 best players would all be recovering from major injuries.

If Lopez can stay healthy think it'd be a good trade for OKC. Too bad that won't happen. But Brook can put up some buckets from the C position that OKC has sorely missed the last 3-4 years. Ibaka, Adams, and Lopez is solid
