The reality is, his shooting is much worse than 40% from 3, and so far, the more stacked his team is, the worse off he is.

In the regular season sure, but when the pressure of the playoffs arrives he tends to vanish more often than not. OKC had a chance to sweep Memphis in the 2013 playoffs, but Durant came up small in 4 straight 4th quarters which resulted in a backdoor sweep. He even starts missing free throws more often in the playoffs, and when a 90 percent free throw shooter has a big drop off in the post season 2 years in a row that is a clear sign that he gets rattled on the big stage.
