I just don't understand how he will help them.

Scott Brooks' playbook:

1) iso Russ
2) iso Kd
3) iso Reggie

and now the new surprise trick play:
4) iso Waiters

Puts Lamb further down on the depth chart. If he can play defense, it's another guy they can play down the stretch of games for spacing. Roberson is open all game every game and he is a horrible shooter.

He can take some of the load of Russ and KD by carrying their bags.

I don't think he can.

He's got plenty of talent, but he's just not a good team player.

According to ESPN's RAPM he is the 3rd worst SG in the league this year:

The best way he can help is by not reporting to the team.

I don't know either, he's isn't a good shooter or a good playmaker.
But, OKC gave up almost nothing to get him. It's worth the chance

Compared to Andre Roberson?

If this guy thought LeBron and Irving dominated the ball.... just wait until he plays with Westbrook and Durant. :oldlol:

Keep working on that corner 3 Dion.

As a spot up.. He sure better not think he will dominate the ball

He shoots over 40% from 3 on catch and shoot opportunities.

And he didn't want to catch and shoot in Cleveland so good luck with that.

He's never gonna get a chance to shoot the ball. Westbrook and Durant refuse to involve their teammates, especially in crunch time. Until Durant realizes that he isn't clutch and starts sharing the ball at the end of games OKC will never win a title.

Why should Durant share the ball when he's easily the best closer on the team?

So his 3 point percentage looks fine when you only look at the easy opportunities? I'm sure other players have much higher 3 point percentages too if you only count the easy opportunities. The reality is, his shooting is much worse than 40% from 3, and so far, the more stacked his team is, the worse off he is.

In the regular season sure, but when the pressure of the playoffs arrives he tends to vanish more often than not. OKC had a chance to sweep Memphis in the 2013 playoffs, but Durant came up small in 4 straight 4th quarters which resulted in a backdoor sweep. He even starts missing free throws more often in the playoffs, and when a 90 percent free throw shooter has a big drop off in the post season 2 years in a row that is a clear sign that he gets rattled on the big stage.

Andre Roberson sucks dick on any 3's, including catch and shoot.

Westbrook/Waiters/Durant/Ibaka/Adams

Get scared.

Streaky, but a source of instant offense. Incredible defensive potential. Could be the best shot blocking guard since prime Wade.
