The #Spurs 21-15 record is their worst 36-game start since 10-26 start in 1996-97 (season before drafting Tim Duncan):

Looks like we'll have two new, fresh, teams in the finals. No Kobe, Lebron, San Antonio

No Parker no kawhi.

Regular season means nothing. Spurs don't even have to make the playoffs...they still gonna win it all.

Spurs worst 36 game start in Duncan Era seems like the best Kobe can dream for without Shaq/Pau

When 21-15 is your worst start in 20 years, god dammit you've been doing something right.

The fact that this is their worst start in that long just is so absurd.

It's just inconsistency and injuries. On top of losing some really close games... like having back to back triple OT games (which hasn't happened in the NBA since 1951)... losing on a broken play last night against Detroit... etc, etc... Not having Kawhi has been the biggest hit, he's helpful on both ends not just defense. He was Finals MVP for a reason. And Spurs can't exactly play their best players playoff type minutes in january or they'll be gassed by the playoffs. It's the conundrum of having a great veteran lineup that can also withstand the long RS grind. When your young, up-and-coming players are hurt it makes it even harder.

This. Duncan and Manu should be resting on most back to backs. Instead, Duncan's only rested 3 games (including 2 triple over time games in a row) so far because of the injuries. When 2 of the starters are injured for so long, it takes a toll on the older players. They are really missing Kwahi's defense. Parker has been atrocious on that end this year. Spurs need all their players to function as a cohesive unit.

TLP thinks Parker is the Spurs 3rd best point guard even though he's our only All-Star, only All-NBA player, and led the Spurs in scoring and assists last year throughout the regular season and the playoffs. His posts are borderline insane.

you say "only All-Star, only All Nba player, etc..." like he's playing alongside a bad lineup though (neglecting the Spurs deepness and the All-Star type talents of Duncan/Manu/Kawhi/etc), so it makes both y'alls views equally extreme IMO. I don't agree with TLP's point guard rankings (Parker's clearly the best in general) but on the other hand Parker clearly wasn't "carrying" the 2013-2014 Spurs. Really balanced team, which is arguably why they were so great. Duncan played the most minutes last season (cumulatively) and him and Parker tied in MVP voting (12th place). Really, it was more of a team success than any one player reigning supreme. Kawhi, Green, Splitter, their efforts were invaluable.

When Duncan's worst year is on par with Kobe's best year without Shaq/Pau says a lot.

Parker is on that putrid list twice...on two title teams. His RPM/RAPM this season is among the worst in the league, and I'm pretty sure on the defensive end he's in the bottom 10.

All-Star/All-NBA was for the last Regular Season. I've been talking about last Playoffs and this Regular Season.

Siding with a Kobe stan against a Spur fan just to prop up Parker? He hasn't been an all-star, all-nba player this year. You well know that the Spurs are the definition of a balanced, well-synced team - when parts are out, the team suffers disproportionately.
