His last four played games:

Lakers (2-2)

17.0 ppg, 8.5 apg, 8.0 rpg

47/53/82

Is this the new, less shot chuckingly, more efficient Kobe?

Lebron is only averaging 5 boards per on the season... By far his season low since his rookie year.

He's also not shooting 53% from deep.

It was four games, after three games rest. I think its time to start sitting him like Wade. He's got maybe one good season left.

The last thread made about Kobes awful 5 game stretch went 20 pages. Were you complaining then?

Kobe playing great lately. No complaints over here and I was calling for his head early in the season.

They should be 4-0, but Lin's 4th quarters ****ed up the games against Memphis and Portland.

Now others see Lin for what he truly is. Welcome to the light, brother.

This isn't a new kobe, This is a kobe about to retire.
He isn't reinventing anything..he's stealing rebounds from other players, gets like 0 offensive boards and is holding onto the ball too long. He's also getting like 5-6 TOs a game.

He doesn't go to practice and plays every other game..the dude is too old to play. This isn't the spurs where pop is saving his old players for the playoffs/championship run....Lakers are just resting Kobe to save him face.

He should pretty much hang it up.

If he's really changing it's for the best for this season but won't be enough to put LA in the postseason. It's good that he's willing to change to do what he can to help them win but though. Respect that.

Yeah we ain't making the playoffs but this is still the best thing for Kobe and the Lakers.

Kobe doesn't hurt his legacy by chucking his way to embarrassing stats and the rest of the team gains more experience and confidence (hopefully).

Honestly I can see Kobe keeping up those stats the rest of the way if he rests some games. They got NO rebounders (screw Jhill) so he can get as many boards as he wants and he's the best distributor in the team so he can rack up the assists.

Kobe should be averaging 10+ assists, it's amazing how many wide open bricks come off his passes.
