What ever happened to Gianna Distenca?

I have tried researching about her, cause I was into her when that vid came out, but to no avail. Every 2 years of so I would try again, but could never find anything. Looked at other forums but no one has ever found anything, and a lot of people have tried.
I usually don't care much for this kind of stuff, but she really got my interest. How can someone who appeared in a huge hit music video just disappear off the face of the Earth? It's really strange.

. No pictures of her actually exist on the internet, besides the ones of her from the music video. After Stacy's Mom the only thing she did was a role in an animated short called ''Senor Crab'' by Ooze productions films (you can easily find it on YouTube, she's the bear at the end that says ''yay''). Apparently someone asked Anonymous to find her and they came up empty handed. She allegedly removed herself from the acting world because she didn't want older men perving over her. She isn't on any social networking site, anything you find is just fan made. No one involved with the Stacy's Mom music video has had much contact with her, if any. The only way we can get any more information than this on her is if she herself comes out and says what happened to her after Stacy's Mom. My guess is she'll eventually return to the acting world she could have done really well in if she hadn't decided to leave the life behind.
P.S. I know one music video doesn't technically count as an acting life but I'm just using that term for state a point.
Hmm. A lot of speculation but no real facts.
FYI She was older than me when the music video came out, and is older than me now. Obviously.
What do you think ******s? How is it possible for someone this popular to disappear like this?
