True definition of addition by subtraction. Detroit is playing excellent basketball, and I think Josh Smith has finally found his role as a Rocket. He gives us a much needed spark off the bench. Win-Win for both teams.

Bruh its been four games, I'd wait a bit before saying Josh Smith has figured it out.

Problem is McHale and Morey don't match up. Morey wants to play 2k and McHale just wants to sit in his rocker and sip Arnold palmers.

Morey needs a coach like Carlisle. Someone who can leverage all the talent. Knows his players and studies the other teams.

And McHale needs...well...he needs to just do something other than coach.

Can't play Howard + Smith in crunch time, especially come playoffs

win-win for al parties involved. We got much needed depth and a versatile PF and the Pistons can now give more minutes to their young bigs.

Smith obviously fits in as a backup with the Rockets better than any role on any other team. If only we can find that same sweet spot of a role/team for Jeremy Lin again.
