Looks like Deron Williams is falling off the earth, what do you guys think is going to happen to him?

He had all the tools. Just injury prone and he didn't have it upstairs or even downstairs.

Great handles
Great shot
Decent physicality
Beta mentality was his downfall

lol I have not seen his package... what I implied is that he has no balls. Dude doesn't step up when it's man up time.

He had a little resurgence in the 2nd half of the 2013 season where he legitimately was playing like a top 3 PG, but outside of that he's been garbage. Shame since he was one of the last real PG's left. Brooklyn might be legit threats in the east with Utah D-Will.

He just couldn't ever recover from all the wear and tear.

It's funny how bad of a relationship he had with Sloan, who made him into a top 2 PG in the league. He was never any good after he left Utah's system.

He was good for the Nets until his injury. Injury is what made him decline

Kinda off topic but cases like Deron makes you feel good for what Vince Carter has done in his long career. Instead of dropping off he embraced becoming a role player and is still effective with limited minutes.

It must be real hard mentally for ex-superstars to deal with this, as its become far too common.

looks like he is ready to join the taliban or IS

Is a piece of shit wouldn't be surprised if a team traded for him though.

I never really got the impression that Vince had a big ego, so that's a big part of it. Plus he's a smart guy and is still deadly from the 3. He's more of a specialist now, still very valuable.

He's out the indefinitely. Hopefully he doesn't travel with the team. Nets fans can't take him anymore
