What does pound for pound mean in basketball? There are no weight classes in basketball. The best player is the best player, and Steph Curry is not it, no matter how much he thinks so.

Even if it actually meant something, what you really mean is who is the scrawniest looking basketball player that is actually good. Because Russell Westbrook is probably less than 10 lbs more than curry and blows him away. he just doesn't look like an 8th grader. Chris Paul might weigh 10 lbs less and he blows him away too.

Curry being the best player in the league is most certainly a debatable case. He is as complete of a guard as there is. The potency of his shooting abilty, to go with a wicked set of handles, makes him the most dynamic offensive player in the league. Add on the fact that he's a plus rebounder and defender at his posistion? Definitely debatable. He's the MVP if the season ends today.

I just realized he is #1 in steals.

Other way of saying the best small, skinny guy.

**** does that even mean? Is it good to be small and skinny? Does it matter when your opponents are significantly bigger.

Thing is, this is a way to discredict bigger skilled players.

If I was starting a team, and had to start with someone under 230lbs, the first person I would pick is Russell Westbrook. And he's about the same weight and height.

I guess you forgot Westbrook has been injured.

And this is a stupid argument anyway in basketball. You're either better or you aren't. If there was a fantasy draft he wouldn't be selected in the top 10. But thats my opinion, don't act like you're the only one who has watched basketball this season.

The best little guy always is the best pound for pound. Doesn't mean anything.

When I hear pound for pound, it means pretty much guards 6'4 and under. And the impact they have on a game. In other words, guys who are limited to the backcourt. That's why I don't consider Lebron and Durant in this discussion frankly becasue they are SF's. As of now, Curry has a great case. He and Westbrook right now. Then from there CP3, Wall, and Lillard. Historically speaking, West, Wade, AI, Isiah, Tiny, and Frazier-Payton take it for me.

His small frame is good for longterm because less pressure on the knees. My Ideal point guard would still be Jason Kidd. Jason Kidd could still post people up.

So is Curry in the playoffs. He can't handle the defense or pressure in the playoffs which is why he'll always get exposed in that atmosphere.

Dude will shoot 40% and chuck his team out of games while playing absolutely no defense. My God is this ****ing guy overrated.

Yes, Curry has been and is better than Westbrook and Paul. I swear, some of the people in post in here don't actually watch the games. Anyone who's watched this year and takes either Westbrook or Paul over Steph is out of their minds.

Steph this year.

Westbrook is the overrated guy, this guy can never lose. If he plays poorly (Durant is there to clean it up for him) When Durant is not there to rescue him, he looks like an idiot because of his decision making. He never carried anybody to anything lol

True or False?

But can he shit on and dominate an entire league in the reg season like 6'1 165lb AI did when he won MVP.

It took the player with the greatest peak of all time (Shaq) to stop him.

AI was an inefficient low IQ chucker. He played with a great defensive team and a great coach in a historically weak Eastern Conference. Curry >>>>>>> the canswer .

Three pages in and no one has posted his weight? Much less (weight x team winning %) / (per x rapm x dws x ows x points)?

Right now Harden is averaging 27 points 7 assists 6 boards. He is the best scorer in the league and a elite playmaker with a lot better defense then Curry which is not saying much.

Anthony Davis is a freak on both sides of the ball.I think one of these guys will endup being the league MVP with Harden probably just infront.

Nah, that'd be Kobe. I'd give Curry the nod for 2nd or most likely 3rd behind Westbrook.
