View Full Version : Deng has to be the most inconsistent player of all time.

One day he can score 20+ next game 4 and hes been doing the same thing since Chicago.

I don't really like him as a player. He is a solid defender but offensively he is just too inconsistent to elevate a team to another level.

Danny Granger is also not the same player ever since he got injured then traded to the Strippers.

I agree with OP, solid defender but he can't be a #1 option on a team. Just a role player.

I was pretty glad when he didn't end up with the Hawks. Better off without him

He's a player in the league as far as I'm concerned.

He's the oldest 29 year old player in the league. Thibodeau ran the dude in the ground, and it shows.

Thibs is going to do the same to Jimmy Butler.

Oh well, just max him out and enjoy him for 4-5 years.

I think he's being a little more mindful ... kind of. He's terrible with player management. But as others have said, Luol Deng is the oldest 29 year old on the planet. Thibs ran him into the ground also basically killed D-Rose in 2012 too.

Yeah, he's been disappointing, and his lack of consistent production has been a big reason for Miami's struggles - he just isn't reliable. I mean, look at the splits:

In wins - 17/5/3 on 58%, 39% from 3.

In losses - 12/5/1 on 43%, 33% from 3.

Huuuge drop off.

Bosh has been very inconsistent as well. Been letting Wade down and not playing anything close to his contract.
