Speaking of that, there is a guy that existed at some point in time Y-chromosomal Adam. He is the link for every single human living today. What Im saying is that you had around 4096 great-great-great...(enough for 12 generations great)..grand parents alive and around your age in 1670. The 4096 can either be bigger if your families had kids at young ages and burned through generations quickly, and the number can be smaller if there was a lot of incest involved, which cuts the number of parents and grandparents in certain parts of the tree because for example if cousins got together, both parties would have the same grand parents.

Essentially around 4000 people give or take that directly lead down the family tree to you. But that is just a random date. Go further back and the number increased exponentially, eventually leading into the millions.
