I'll take Rose. Westbrook is more talented, but Rose knew how to play with his team. I'm not convinced Westbrook can adjust quite yet.

Rose was better. Primarily because he had a better feel for the game; better decision maker.

He says mad random stuff and wears a mask in his avatar... just agree with him and don't hide behind the chainsaws.

westbrrok hands down.. chicago defense made rose look better than what he is .. current westbrook or even steph curry in that system would do just as great or even better

Westbrook has had several seasons of comparable value to MVP Rose. This year he has played at a level significantly higher than peak Rose. Still, the sample size is very small and his play has begun dropping. So on a top season comparison I can't give it to Rose.

The idea that Rose is a better team player is very flawed. Westbrook's selfishness is vastly overstated because of his style of play. The fact that his coach is a tard makes it even worse. Westbrook would be well suited to playing the role 2011 Rose did.

Lebron was on a couple of teams that had top notch defenses and didn't win. He was on one with two of the most versatile all stars at their positions and still didn't win it all.

Curry has never been on a successful team where he was the only consistent offensive threat. He doesn't score enough with help to say that he can do it.

When teams have gone hard at Westbrook, he too suffered. One team did it recently and three other teams have since followed suit. And its definitely messed with him. I think he could adjust but it will take time. Now give MVP Rose a player like Durant he would have had all types of holes to penetrate.

It's tough. Both players are unstoppable, but I'll take Rose because he's less prone to being baited into pull-up jumpers. Although this year his shot selection hasn't been great.
