View Full Version : LeBron would do best on a team where he is the only max player

These "Big 3" teams are not great for LBJ.

We see that whenever LBJ sits out games (w/ Cavs or Heat) and the team basically falls apart.

If you even take out one max player and spread it to 2-3 solid stud starters, you'd have a more complete balanced team that isn't lacking in depth.

I see why LBJ wants another superstar for playoff time, but he's good enough to step up himself when it counts.

In conclusion: Trade K Love and Irving for a dominant drive to the rim PG, and some other pieces. A top tier rebounding center would be great as well (like Asik or Hill)

Cavs 04-10: 0 Finals wins
Heat 11-14: 2 titles, 4 straight Finals

This. It is asinine to think that he is best on a team without other stars. The difference between his current big 3 and the Heat big 3 is that Wade and Bosh could play defense.

He was younger and didn't have a good team around him.

But take LBJ off that Heat team and replace him with a player like Deng... and you get a terrible team.

If anything he needs more than a big 3..he has a losing record in the final despite being on super teams. A big 5 would suit him.

And what happens when you replace Deng and Bennett with Lebron and Love?

2 max players

the rest solid roleplayers

something like LeBron + prime Dwight surounded by 3 and D guys would tear the league apart

The bigger problem is the valuable 6-10 mil players who sets things up for the max players.

When it comes to the last shot. There ARE many players in the league that are quite capable of hitting them.

But you got to stay close for games after games in the playoffs, and not lapses.

Feels like im discussing about the lakers suns collapse.

And Lebron could also play defense.
