View Full Version : Never seen an elite player so poorly utilized as Dragic in PHX

Clearly the best player on the team and is relegated to being a decoy in 4th quarters, while a guy who is at best 60% of Dragic in ability holds the ball every possession and does stupid shit.

Who is he?

And can't people see that the 4th quarter decision making by PHX is horrendous?

If you think Phoenix wants to give up Dragic for Rose and his contract, I have a bridge to sell you.

50% FgG 40% from 3, and 89% from the FT line, son.

Sounds average to me. In a league with as many dominant point guards as there are, he is average.

I don't think there's even 3 supposedly 'elite' point guards shooting better.

Ah well...50% FG, 40% from 3, 21 ppg and 7 assists is pretty damn good.

He's performing at the same level this season.

I can't name anyone playing better right now except Curry

@Milbuck: Just curious, would you be interested in signing him this summer with the cap space you guys will have? Could then go over the cap to sign Knight and have a pretty set backcourt.

36% from three. And he was averaging 20/6, not 21/7.

Depends on the contract, but I definitely would be interested, and I know the idea has been tossed around by other Bucks fans. I loved what PHX had last year with him and Bledsoe, this could be a similar version of that. And with Knight lacking true PG vision, Dragic would fall back into his natural role as the primary playmaker, pushing Knight to the combo scoring guard role that he needs to be in. My dream scenario is still somehow stealing Schroder from ATL but I'd love an established star like Dragic here as well.

No, he was 40.6% from three. Also 1.4 steals a game.

Heard he could come to NYC when he tests the free agent market... I'd take him as long as he is not trying to break the bank. He is not 21 yrs old.

Yeah I remember some threads where you said you were big on Schroder (I am too), though it might be easier to pry Teague from the Hawks than Dennis at this point haha. They view him as such a big piece.

That's what I was thinking- the East version of Dragic/Bledsoe, but with Knight potentially being cheaper and less injury prone. I know Marshall is a good passer and will be much cheaper, but I'm not sure what type of contract Dragic will get. I mean Lowry got short-changed getting $48M/4 years, but he's not exactly young either.

I kinda like Dragic's fit on the Bucks roster, but then again, I think a lot of guys could fit in there.

Suns have better get rid of that log jam at guards soon. The guards just trying get their own right now to see playtime.

Bledsoe doing fine brah. It's just that when all three points are on the floor Dragic had to give up the ball. I see no issue with just Dragon n Bled sharing the ball handling duties, Thomas has got to go, along with that three point guard gimmick

Until the day Kobe is off the Laker team, Lakers and their fans should just give up the thought to bring any quality point guard on board. U can have whoever the current top pg but they wouldn't succeed in the Mamba's system.

Should look to throw the money on some bigs instead who can put back the bricks.
