We all know Lebron likes to hide in the East because no competition so KD needs to go to the Wizards to make it difficult for him to reach the finals.

Agreed?

Nah he should come to the Cavs instead if Love leaves

But Bron owns Durant. The East needs a star who actually beats Lebron semi often. Oh wait, there are no stars who fit that description. :pimp:

Agree, playing without Westbrook will only elevate his game.

of course durant can't match lebron's talent; no one can from today's game - but lebron's style of play and lack of scoring versatility precludes his teams from playing the best brand of basketball, so they will always get beat by a team that IS playing the best brand of basketball (mavs, spurs, whoever, whoever).

i'd like to see durant on the wiz though, because he wouldn't need to post or handle the ball... he could just shoot all day, rather than struggle to post or not turn it over... most importantly, he could escape scott brooks.

Durant has more talent than Lebron in plenty of areas of the game. Shooting, off ball...

Lebron's talents just happen to be more dominant, or used to be, due to the current style and rules of the game

Wall - Beal - Durant would be a nice trio.

That's such a wickedly good combo. Wall can score, but he's more a pass first. Beal can score, and he's someone Durant can kick out to when the defense collapses and he'll actually hit the 3 unlike anyone at OKC.

Great combo that compliments each other perfectly.

oh i was just referring to athletic talent, and even for that i was referring to his prime, not now as an older player.

and i think his talent is overstated when you consider that he dominates the ball more than many point guards and more than any other wing EVER... so he'd BETTER average 6-7 assists with that level of ball-domination... at least that many... that's barely above average for a ball-dominator (http://stats.nba.com/tracking/#!/player/possessions/?sort=TOP&dir=1).

so durant is the more skilled player and versatile scorer for sure.

my main point was actually that lebron's style of play and lack of scoring versatility precludes his teams from playing the best brand of basketball, so they will always get beat by a team that IS playing the best brand of basketball (mavs, spurs, whoever, whoever).

He is also scoring more points than all those guys you idiot. Scoring more points+above average assists=elite

I've never seen some as closeminded as you. Stop posting the same shit in every thread.

You're here talking about how Lebron dominates the ball more than Irving...Can't you understand the fact that it's better for the team? Can't you see that Kyrie can't get others involved? What's the point of him dominating the ball more than Lebron?

he's not scoring more than durant though - durant scored way more last year and got 5.5 assists to lebron's 6.3.

and the data shows that durant dominated the ball 28% less, but only got 13% less assists (5.5 to 6.3).

would it have been optimal if karl malone had a nice handle, played point guard, dominated the ball a ton, and got 6-7 assists?.. it would look real pretty and karl's numbers would be great as he took his time and set everything up, but his team would never play the best brand of basketball, so they would always get beat by a team that WAS playing the best brand of basketball.

that's all i'm saying... it's not necessarily lebron's fault, blame him skipping college or not copying bird and mj like kobe did.

Durant could replace Rasual Butler when he retires. Imagine Wall setting up KD for an easy 3 at the corner.

with lebron playing point guard, what is kyrie supposed to do?... just be a spot-up shooter?

and therein lies the rub... when you have a SF playing point guard, it impinges on the roles of the actual, listed guards and reduces their roles, which in turn reduces the team's overall output and capacity to produce.

and that's the thing - lebron can't win this way with scrubs obviously (no one can, no matter what style is employed)... so he can ONLY win with a supporting cast SO great, that when he reduces them, they are still good enough to win it all... ... it's true

Or Wall dishing to KD, who draws 4 players and kicks it out for an easy 3 to Beal. Man that team would be so fun to watch.

Oh yeah, then explain to me this Heat team being 15-21 right now with their core intact and LeBron replaced by an all-star?

Don't even use the injury excuse since the team fought those the last 3 years aswell... Looks to me like LeBron carried them and heavily overachieved.

I always LOL whenever someone mentions Tim Duncan beating LBJ, especially considering he wasn't even the best player during those series. It took the entire Spurs team

Duncan - Could have sat out last seasons Finals and his team would still have beaten the Heat.
Dirk - Lebron has beaten Dirk six times in a row. :wtf:
Pierce - Lost 3 straight playoff series to Lebron, and could only win when Bron was surrounded by D leaguers.
Dwight - Could only beat Lebron when he was surrounded by D leaguers.

Wall feeding Durant would be soooooo deadly. KD seriously needs to consider jumping ship to Washington. That team would easily win the east with Wall, Beal, Durant, and that frontcourt depth.

Wiz would be so legit.
