I think he was just trying to make a point about stats though, he wasn't suggesting they are a similar tier

a Role Player/3rd Option on offense (Jimmy Butler) can be the best player on his team + Best @ his position in the whole league. ONLY ON ISH.....

Here was the point. Both Jordan and Love had great statistical seasons with the same team record. Neither had strong teams. Both played in tough conferences. One is viewed as having legit stats, the other is "empty".

That's all. It wasn't an argument for Love having a better season. It was a question as to why Love gets so much criticism. Minny has 5 wins this season in his absence. They're terrible. Some of that is injuries, but some of that is they no longer have their best player.

I'm not going to get emotional and act offended like Stephen A. Smith. It is not egregious or blasphemous or w/e to make a point by comparing Jordan with other players, no matter how good or bad they are. For better or worse there was an underlying point to that post. Emotions shouldn't get in the way of it.
