I heard his dad was a police officer and beat up a bunch of guys by himself and a basketball manager saw that in the papers, contacted him and asked if he has a son. That's how Jusuf got into basketball when he was 14 or 15 years old.

14 or 15 is to late, but I remember Hakeem start playing lately also.

Anyway there are some qualities in the kid for sure ... will see how far he will go. He had some soft shooting touch, he seems to be strong naturally although he had a physique of a "unathletic european scrub". And he had confidence.
