I like JVG more. Some of his rants about flopping and officiating are spot-on. Plus, he can be pretty funny. Walton is good too, but JVG has to be my fav.

Tom TolbertJust came in to mention him. I don't know if he's the best, but it seems he tends to get some undue hatred. I was watching a couple of games from the 03-ish area and while his personality may not hit everyone, he actually had some logical insight on the game and referenced his own experiences well.

Bill Walton is was one of the most glorious human beings in history. His Shakespearean wit and Einstein mathematical knowledge expanded the frontiers of basketball knowledge around this glorious blue ball in space.

JVG is a man rubbing two sticks together to start a fire in comparison.

jackson does shit all except say his catchphrases every once in a while. When he was coaching the Warriors, the commentary barely suffered.

Walton was the most entertaining. I miss him. I'd rather they just have 2 color commentators for games. I hate literally every play-by-play guy in basketball.

Walton was over the top with so much unrelated information but he was truly entertaining. Greek mythologies and universal trivia and all that stuff. Superstar player nut hugger. Too bad he will never call games again but those Shaq and Kobe runs were his calls.
