whiteside is a good player. He is a defensive stopper, a rebounder, and doesn't need plays to be efficient. He also lets kevin love play on the perimeter.

Getting draft picks (esp a first) + an energy big for a guy who's been on a roll but may tail off? I view that as selling high. Granted, Whiteside has been beasting and fits well alongside Bosh. Not saying Riley would automatically say yes, but I don't think he'd turn it down exactly...
