Cavs need to lose this year to win next

Its going to take at least a year of playing together and losing before they can work things out and really contend. A lot of great teams like 04 Lakers and 12 lakers had the weapons to win it all but just not the time to learn the system and their roles. Cavs will be knocked out in the ECF but they will win the next two conference finals and win at least one championship.

That isn't necessarily true. By losing this year they're able to take the offseason to address the kinks in their team and right the ship, and by the time the season is over for them they'll have (hopefully) developed a chemistry with one another and a team identity.

Of course, if Love does leave this would complicate matters, but the point still stands.
