So many great candidates this year, who gets it?
Kerr(Frontrunner)
Budzenholzer
Casey
Stotts
Kidd
Van Gundy(He'll get there)

If the hawks keep this up and get 1/2 seed, bud should win it easily. Team made out of role players and only 2 or superior players.
Gsw is stacked, even tho kerr is doing amazing

If pistons get a 6 seed or better it has to be SVG. To have the balls to cut a cancer like smith and then immediately turn around a lost season is incredible. Budz is the clear leader now, but these pistons are quite a story.

Budenholzer, though stan van gundy would be right behind him in the discussion if the pistons keep playing the way they are

Kerr
Budenholzer
Stotts

Kerr has been great but I don't see how it can be anyone other than Bud at this point. If you told me before the season that halfway through the year the Warriors would be in first in the West, I wouldn't really bat an eye. If you told me the Hawks would be leading the East? I'd slap you in the face.
SVG will make things interesting if the Pistons keep this run up too.

Kerr or Bud. No disrespect to other coaches, but those two really stand out from the crowd by their accomplishments this year. If Atlanta stays no. 1 in the east, then title easily goes to Budenholzer.

Iam on the Coach Bud wagon as well. I loved him as a Spurs assistant and many Spurs fans were excited that he would take over the reigns after Pop retired. It was sad to see him go but I didnt have any doubt that he would be successful where ever he went.

Kerr IMO walked on to a team that already had superstar talent, chemistry, and sustained success.
Bud on the other hand...
Really like what Kidd is doing in Milwaukee and I have to admit even though I'm not an SVG fan you have to be impressed with how his team is playing now.

Think Kidd deserve a little more recognition even though he seems like such a jerk as a coach.
Milwaukee is playing way better then what the roster is set out to do.

No, just a factor of being out East.
Anyway, as much as I am loving Kerr, JVG gets the Coach and Executive of the Year on LOCK with that "**** you, we'll still pay you if we have to just get the **** off our team" move

The coach of the team that is inexplicably overachieving the most.

On paper the following teams are more attractive then the Bucks.
Orlando
Detroit
Charlotte
Indiana
Cleveland
Miami
Brooklyn
And Kidd has done a pretty good job in getting where they are with the talent they have. As I said before....I not a big fan of Kidd at all but you have to give some credit when it is due!

This is easily Steve Kerr. He had zero coaching experience entering this season and he's got the Warriors on track for a 60 win season in the stacked western conference. That is not easy.

Because Giannis and Jabari have huge potential, Indie is stuck with that nasty Hibbert contract, and Charlotte, Orlando, Brooklyn aren't even better right now. Miami is old and injury prone; probably going to blow it up soon.

How the hell is Kerr the frontrunner? He was handed the most talented team in the league that was good for 50+ wins and possibly a deep playoff run even without him.
This Hawk team wouldn't win 35 games with anyone else.

If Mike Bud doesn't win this year, this award is a joke.
Kerr and Bud are the only candidates

budzenholzer will win, no ifs and or buts. well deserved too.
kerr's success will derive from the postseason IMO.

Not if the Hawks fall off
they wont. i've seen enough - and they're the spurs of the east.
at least in this regular season they'll be.
