37% from the field
42% True shooting %
7 assists per game BUT with 4 turnovers per game...
What's his peak? I doubt he'll ever be a guy who's efficient...

He just not THAT good. Also he is one of the best players on an awful team so all the defensive attention goes to him

Because he can't make shots or free throws

I mean I know he's young but..
25% from 3
and atm 63% from the freethrow line. He was only 70% last year.
And he's made no improvements this offseason shooting wise or really anything.

He just can't shoot, his mechanics need work, but namely he needs to get a go to move to give him more space for his jumpers.

he couldn't practice all off season due to shoulder surgery.

Because he is a mediocre starter at best on a real team.

That's why the 6ers were serious about taking Exum #3.

Interesting. Didn't know that. I'll be a little less hard on him then.

and the 76ers were trying to move him last offseason and early this season. They wanted to sell high hoping someone thought he was actually that good

That TS% is absurd..... Kyle Korver's TS% is 30 points higher.

err, well i mean... exum is similar to MCW in that he's a tall PG who can't shoot very well... exum might be a slightly better shooter but I mean that isn't saying much...

There's a couple reason why his shot has been so bad.
1. He was I injured all summer and couldn't work on his game missed the start of the season too.
2. He's the first option on a team built to tank. NBA teams make him the focal point of their defense when in reality he is a third option at best.

I think his percentages will improve once you put better players that can consistently score around him. He is being forced to do to much a trade to a good team would do wonders for him or wait until next season when we add more pieces to compete
