It's a testament to how pathetic it is that the difference between the two situations needs to be explained.

Maybe because Kobe already had THREE championships while Bran had ZERO and was considered the best player in the league when he joined the Heat.......?

And it was Shaq who played the main role in getting those two to sign with the Lakers.

Fcuking simpleton.

and Malone and Payton were old as dirt.

Kobe only colludes when half of the band is around retirement age.

As it should be.

They came to join Kobe, not the other way around. Why should anyone care? :lol

They were at the end of their careers. They just wanted rings. It's not similar at all.

People forget that Payton was averaging 21pts/5reb/9ast and nearly 2 steals on Seattle and 20/3/7 and 1.2 steals on Milwaukee the season before joining the Lakers.

Malone was putting up 20.6pts/7.8reb/4.7ast and 1.7 steals the season prior as well.

They did seem to take a step backwards the year they played with the Lakers though.

I don't get this.

In 2010, Wade and bran were considered two of the top 3 players in the league... then decided to team up with one of the best PF's in the league.

Nothing even close to the situation in the OP.

Malone and GP were role players :kobe: and Kobe had bigger problems + he injured his shoulder in the WCF and I think had knee surgery just prior to the season.
