View Full Version : Isn't it interesting how a team loses its mystique when other teams see they lose?

I really feel that a big part of being a great team is winning so much that other teams feel they have no chance against you (even though you're not that good). Once you start losing games, no one is "afraid" anymore even though you're a formidable team.
Cavs and Warriors are examples of both sides of this...

Kind of like that. Like tonight, Cavs are a much better team but Suns don't fear a team with LeBron on it as much as they should. Because of that, they are playing free

Kind of like the 2013 Miami Heat. They won 26 in a row, then the Bulls broke the streak. The mystique was lost, and no one was afraid of the Heat anymore.
