Lakers are beggars right now, they're looking at Love like a piece of raw meat after being starved for days. They went after J Lin and claimed Boozer. What makes you think they don't want Love? Not only do we lack a core on our roster, but our best player has fallen off a cliff. Which means as of now we're in the market for a new center piece, not just help.

I also guarantee you Love is considering going to the Lakers as we speak. He was willing to be the best on a bad Team in Minne, what makes you think he wont even consider LA? Where it's said he's been pining for how many years? Now that the Cavs situation is proven to be bogus (for him in particular) I see no reason why he wouldn't consider it.

We sign him in the offseason, then in 2015-16 he plays to re-establish himself as a threat in this league and in 2016 Free Agency we go hard after Durant or anyone else worth a shit who's available.

It's us or Phoenix imo , since they don't seem to have an established front court right now. But take a look around the league, not many places he can thrive in without having to take a back seat, which I'm pretty sure he's tired of doing at this point.

Kobe has nothing to do with it. There's no reason for any player to go to the Lakers because they have no foundation and no future. No picks, no players worth a damn right now. Their coaching situation, even their ownership is uncertain. Why would anybody want to be a part of that?
