If you were to pick a coach who would you want?
In reality it's probably going to be Tyronn Lue, Mark Jackson or JVG.
Or they may stick with Blatt until this season is over.

JVG sounds like a great idea in theory if LBJ buys in.

JVG and Mark Jackson would both be fine by me. Hell, I'd even take Mike Brown back, he's a better coach than he gets credit for, and certainly better than Blatt.

NBA team's fire and hire coach's like they're nothing. The only teams which have had stable coach's for a prolonged period are Spurs ,Heat and Dallas. Which actually might be an argument to keep Blatt.

all they really need is a good defensive-minded asst coach, and for Blatt to relieve himself of controlling this area. same with Mike D'A, and vice versa for someone like Mike Brown.
firing a 1/2 bad coach isn't going to solve anything, especially when the offensive side (which Blatt is pretty good at running) is producing at a high level.
Mike Brown as asst to Blatt could do wonders :confusedshrug: and it will amp the Lebron/Cavs fan-base to that pre-Heat era

Blatt hasn't done a good job on the offense either. So far he really hasn't done anything well.

i wouldn't say not good...they do have a high-offensive output, so his mgmt of that does deserve some credit. a complete change midway into the season doesn't seem as something that will go well to me.
band-aid the bleeding best you can with someone like Mike Brown (pretty good band-aid for defense IMO) and if it fails, then revamp in the summer to a completely new approach.

No matter who it is, even Popovich but Bron will not respect him. He's childish like that.

Disagree.. They gave up 2 picks because they desperately needed a big man, not because they value Blatt and Mozgov's relationship that much.

they need a defensive-minded coach more than anything.

If you think they have been good on offense because of Blatt you clearly haven't been watching...
