I think Shaq was the better player and would rather have him on the team. Shaq has the better Finals as well.

2006 shaq. easily. forget that 2000 kobe was a sidekick, and think about shaq still being a top 5 player in-terms of impacting team wins. well that was the reality. shaq in 2006 had a RAPM of 7.7, and a higher offensive rapm than anyone in the top 5. the guy who supposedly was better than him, dwyane wade, was actually just below shaq in rapm (wade played phenomenal that season), which goes back to what i've been saying. 2006 shaq was the best player if you value straight, and purified IMPACT.
