1-8 against Western Conference playoff opponents and allowing 113 points versus those teams. They are softer then Charmin and a guaranteed first round exit.

LOOOOOL Excellent trolling

My Little Pony Mavs

But I dont think so, they re more a 2nd round exit with a little possibility of WCF (overachieving). All depends on health and matchups.

mavs played just as bad against western playoff teams the year they won the championship. however i will agree this current team with the way they have been playing is a long shot for anything past the second round.

Agreed.

I'm a Mavs fan but agree. It's possible they can find someone to help their frontcourt off the bench. Their D has improved dramatically w Rondo but they need a good big off the bench. Even if they can find another big I'm not sure that they can beat any good teams in a seven game series. They do have an excellent coach and they have Rondo, Chandler and Dirk (JJ too) who have all won a championship which certainly helps in the playoffs. Still, I don't think they'll get out of the second round.

a starting line up that consisted of calderon, 36 year old marion, and dalembert took the spurs to 7. that was impressive

ellis and dirk carried them like true stars. not much you can do with a flawed roster

You forgot that Vince Carter was there and he turn the clock back in that playoff shooting almost 50% from 3, he is no longer there, and the west is better than last year west, even with a fully healthy SA roster, I don't think they are the best of the west.

BTW Calderon and Carter put 22+ ppg on 47+ 3p%. and they are gone and Dallas haven't replace that effective shooting from long distance.

Calderon at least was a sharp shooter, and Carter was so clutch. He single-handedly helped extend the series in the first round. Mavs added flat-shooting Parsons, and Rondo who has his own shooting woes. If Dirk shoots .43% from field and .083% from three-point again in the playoffs, not sure how far they can go. Can Monta Ellis lead them to a championship?... we'll see

Yeah but Harris played most of the time because Calderon is fools gold to stay with OP. He is a Steve Novak at PG

What part of 25.1 is higher than 27.3? Because 25.1 is what Harris average while Calderon did 27.3

The crunchtime lineup was Harris Ellis VC Dirk Blair/Dalembert, but mostly Blair.

But to OP:

Record says nothing, but they can't play Tyson 44 minutes like last night. If they keep him on this pace he is done in late march/april.

They need a new big asap. Sign JO or Blatche and trade Felton for anything.
