great article.
the reason no one responded to this thread is because they were too busy slamming Woj's article in the other thread, saying Woj "has always hated Lebron", etc...
but here's an article where the biggest lebron homer ever, says there is no leadership on the team... and naturally, this thread is a ghost town... typical of stans to ignore the truth.
lebron is not capable of developing lottery team into a champion like bird and jordan did - he's never done it, and he never will..

the bulls didn't have ANY hof's when Jordan first got there, and when Pippen came on board in 1988, he sucked for his first two years (only 7.9 ppg and then 14.4 ppg).
so Jordan BUILT THAT TEAM UP into champions - this is what lebron has never done, and is incapable of doing - he can't turn a lottery team into champions like jordan and bird did.

Kyrie's attitude really disappointed me last night. Super passive and never seemed to change his facial expression all night.
It's a shame the players aren't buying in. I still like Blatt as a coach, though I'll admit I didn't get too see much games early this year. A period of adjustment is to be expected with a new team and new league altogether for Blatt but nearly halfway through the season, we should be a much better and more cohesive team than we are right now. Of course, making numerous trades (especially when you get J.R. Smith) doesn't help the locker room in the short term either but that's another issue and it kind of had to be done. Hope we can get a win streak going to edge Blatt off the hot seat a little.

Jordan made no draft pick or trade decisions.
but he was willing to be patient and wait for Pippen to develop from a 7.9 PPG player, into a 20 PPG player, and deal with the ups and downs along the way (i.e. Pippen quitting in Game 7 of 1990 ECF vs. Detroit due to the now-famous "migraine headaches" that Pippen admitted were brought on due to the pressure).
so again, Jordan turned a lottery team into champions - it didn't happen overnight though, which is why i think you are confused - lebron team-hops so he can win right away, which makes stans forget that it doesn't normally happen that way... it takes more time when you can't team-hop.

Blatt is the best thing to happen to the Cavs. He is giving the team something to gain and grow team unity around: their hatred for Blatt. After he gets canned, their next coach will get unwavering support and paired with the immense amount of talent on this roster, that will push them over the hump into run of championships that would make Sam Jones feel like he had a failure of a career.

Cavs should say f*ck you to these spoiled children trying to run a franchise and stand by their guy.
I don't care if that means that all their stars leave in the immediate future.
Cavs will never, ever, ever have success if they keep on bending to the wills of the players.

also, he didn't institute the triangle, but he accepted it, and learned to adapt his game to it, so that he could still achieve his normal production WITHIN that offense.
for wing players, they must have truly goat SKILLS to get theirs in the triangle without messing up the offense... that's why it's not surprising that only jordan and kobe have succeeded in doing so - they have the most skilled and versatile scoring ability of any wing players ever.

Just because the Cavs are playing like ass, does not mean they are any less talented.
3 allstars, 4 good role players and a few scrubs at the end of the bench is comparable in talent to any great team in history.
The difference is, Lebron wets the bed when he has to lead and the team isn't following him.

It's becoming so clear that Wade was the true leader of those heat teams
He taught them how to win and kept them focused and together as a team when times looked tough.
He might not have always of been the best player, but he was clearly the leader.

Jordan signed an 8yr extension in the fall of 1988 because of the money. As a habitual gambler, he chose money over patience. We both know that if any other team could have offered more, he would have signed there.
The Cavs lost the most games in the league over the last 4yrs combined since LeBron left and came back. To imply that James thought this was going to be a title year is flat out stupidity on your part.

If bran didnt expect this to be a title year then why was Kevin Love the first person he called after signing with the cavs?
And why in Lebrons letter did he leave out the name of the most hyped prospect since himself while talking about how he was looking forward to developing young talent?
Because soon after Wiggins was traded for Love..

Pretty true.
Lebron cannot lead. That's evidently clear from how this team is blowing up before our eyes.
His carefully modelled superteam which was supposed to be superdominant and carry him into his retirement is falling apart.

They should've consulted w/ LeBron before signing Blatt if James wasn't a flip flopper between Miami, and Cleveland ... wouldn't have to drag a rookie coach, whose in over his head through the mud. Possibly staining the rest of his career opportunities.
You need a vet coach with a talent like LeBron. Someone with experience, whose been through the wars, and carries his own respect among veteran players. Van Gundy would be perfect for this team. He could get some of these guys to play defense, or at least get some great schemes in there. Jeff could have an opportunity at that elusive championship ring.

Do you guys actually believe this shit? Brian Windhorst is the dude who wrote that Lebron and Jordan are on the same tier because of their bowleggedness and he's also the dude who said Lebron is "tortured" by an alleged super-memory because he recalls every shot he ever missed. Furthermore, Windhorst smugly told Skip Bayless that his mom taught Lebron sex-ed on natioanal television as a means to demonstrate how "close" he is to Lebron... in spite of Lebron choosing not to tell him he was coming back to Cleveland.
It's media fluff. Coming from a known sensationalist.

If Wade is such a great leader why are the Heat below .500 when he plays this season. The Cavs meanwhile are 6 games over .500 when Lebron plays.

I bet he didnt think he'd be below .500 halfway through the season. Cant even drag a team of all stars, veterans and high draft picks to a winning record.

They're above .500 when he's in the lineup, but agree that he thought they would be better overall at this point than the record suggests.

Also I don't have a link to the bow-legged article but this poster tipped me off to it and based on prior articles/things Windhorst has said, I'm inclined to believe he mentioned this:
I remember an article from a long time ago, think it may have been by Woj, not sure. But it was comparing Lebron to MJ's greatness and what they have in common. And he mentions how they both are bow-legged and that somehow makes Lebron's greatness comparable to MJ's.
All in all, it was pretty pathetic. As usual.
