Who wins each series?

Edit: Thread title should be from the mid 2000s till now because i believe the Lakers/Spurs/Blazers/Kings would have won every series from 2000-2004, excluding the Lakers turmoil in 04.

Interesting matchups to ponder. If those run-and-gun Suns somehow matched up against the '04 Pistons - that would have served as an incredible contrast in style. By '06, the Pistons had kind of morphed into a semi-good paced ballclub. though, not the win-conference-finals-while-averaging-75-a-game squad we saw a few years earlier.

Almost happened or could have happened i want to know who people think would win.
2008 Spurs were arguably screwed out of a call in game 4 in 2008 vs L.A which would have changed some stuff up, 2009 Nuggets blew game 1 which would changed up the series, 2009 Cavs lost an Overtime Game 4. 2010 Suns lost Game 5 at the buzzer, who knows that happens then if it goes to OT. 2012 Celtics went 7 Games & the OKC series went 6, how is that not close?

How were the Grizzlies close to making it in 2013? Or the Jazz in 2007?

Besides that, the Suns weren't that close either (05-06)

Would've loved:

2002: Kings v.s. Nets - Suspect officiating
2005: Heat v.s. Spurs - Wade injury
2007: Suns v.s. Cavaliers - Suspect officiating
2009: Lakers v.s. Celtics II - KG injury

Boston got beat convincingly in game 6, and game 7? No injuries. No suspect officiating.

Yeah, choked while conveniently LeBron has the game of his life.

Boston making the finals would've done SOME damage to Bron's legacy, but even more-so for Wade. One less title; one less quality season. Yikes.

Brightside would have been seeing KG/Duncan in the finals.

Sorry, meant it should have been (as in fate, Duncan/KG matching up).

We got boned, imo. That game 6 made me sick. :oldlol:

Lol, if the 2012 Heat don't win the title that does ALOT more damage to LeBron's legacy than Wade's..

Assuming the Heat win in 2013? LeBron was arguably better in 2013 than in 2012, topped off with a historic Game 7.

Whatever the case, KG/Duncan in the finals SHOULD have been that year.

07 Jazz-Cavs wouldn't have been much better.

Shit, 07 Spurs-Cavs was arguably the WOAT (I'd add 02 Nets-Lakers, but at least we got to see 35 PPG Shaq).

Wrong. Ray was dealing with the bone spurs since mid season. He didn't even play every playoff game. He was pretty much garbage because of the bone spurs...so yes, Boston did have someone injured.

Ugh yes. We should've got 2009 Cavs v.s. 2009 Lakers. But Panthro disappeared in the ECF.

Ideally it should've been 2009 Lakers v.s. 2009 Defending Champs, Celtics ... The sequel. Then the trilogy series in 2010.

Man you can say LeBron choke or whatever but the years that really sting as a Heat fan for me are 1996-2000. You could argue that some of those teams would beat some of the Heat title teams because they had an elite PG and elite bigmen. Lost once to the bulls in the Conf finals, then choked 3 years in a row to the f'n Knicks... with close to Prime or Prime Tim Hardaway and Zo and very solid surrounding pieces.

The 3 titles since make me feel better so i'll still trade 1996-now as a Heat fan vs a Knicks fan but that time period between 96-2000 is painful memories.

Yes i've watched the heat for more than 4 years and still am.

Yeah, lets not mention Lebron scoring 10 points in the 4th to send it to OT and 10 points in OT.

Shard, Turk and Dwight took turns going at the Cavs in that series, while the only one doing work for the cavs was Lebron.

Thanks why 2011 Mavs over 2011 Bulls and 2010 Suns over Celtics/Magic?
Because the 2011 mavs were a great team and Dirk went on an insane playoff run.

Suns over Celtics because I hate the Celtics and I think their offense was way too good, and in 2010 that Celtics core was already declining

Suns over Magic because I just think they had a better team than the Magic sans Dwight Howard.

I'm talking about Mo Williams, you insecure retard.

Thought that was pretty blatantly obvious. LeBron quit on his team mid series in 2010, not in the 2009 ECF. He was a one man army. No one else showed up.
