The Knicks will get the number one pick. Or the Cavs.

The League Office hates us right now.

Bingo. LAL have Kobe for 1 more year to get any ratings. Nets are mediocre at best and Knicks are terrible. Can't have 2 talent-starved teams in NY market imo. LA at least has a Clippers team that's been making the playoffs, so that market has games into May. NY has squat.

the lakers didnt' send away all of their weapons, we're legit bad while trying. we deserve it more than the knicks

Well, you'll likely get a Top 5 pick because the Lakers are going to tank HARD to stop the pick going to Phoenix.

We'd make better use of the #1 pick. Knicks have only drafted one HOFer (Ewing) while the Lakers have drafted three (Baylor, Magic and Worthy)

The lakers of all of teams don't deserve anything over anybody. What they deserve is a long championship drought.

Lakers need a PG. I think they'd go with Mudiay if they had the first pick

I dont wanna call you an idiot but come on, If Laker get 1st pick, they're taking Okafor FOR SURE. Barring injuries, Okafor is a lock, he's got some serious potential.

For sure the media's going to be all over this kid if he becomes a Laker. I want him to do well regardless of where he goes

6-9 centers w 6-7 power forwards always dominate.

Last time I checked David Stern's retired. Hopefully, there's no more rigging in favor of big market teams.

I can't find Okafor listed below 6'10 and 3/4 anywhere.

I know those numbers are fudged all the time, but his size doesn't seem to be an issue.

6-9 250

Not sure what else you want. Randle dominated as a freshman at UK. Okafor is dominating as a freshman at Duke.

Imagine those two at 23 and 24 years old.

I dont. I hope Lakers stay slotted where they are or improving their slot by winning. And I hope the NYK get the 3rd or 4th pick.

Okafor is a no brainer at 1 whomever gets the pick. I just dont think he will be great, franchise Center. I think he will be just good. Not that impressed with him as a rebounder given his size and how he lives in the paint.

He's 6-11 270, and averages 9.4 rpg (28th). 4.1 ORPG (7th). He's a great rebounder.

Imagine Drummond with an elite post game.

He's the next Marc Gasol.

Hardly a great rebounder to me but good, maybe on the offensive glass he's great. Drummond is athletic and has an above the rim game. Okafor does not. No comparison whatsoever with when it comes to athleticism. So I can't imagine Drummond with an elite post game. Marc Gasol could hit from 15 feet, Okafor lives in the paint. When he does he'll face up and take a guy to the race and give him some footwork, boss.
