Can't believe Jeanie gave Jimbo a window long enough that Kobe would be retired by then... Jim's completely ruined Kobe's last years in the league with all the stupid moves him and Mitch have made....they got a slam dunk trade in Bynum for Dwight and then they just had to not re-sign Sessions for 4-5 mil instead of giving away all these picks and taking on that 9 mil a year salary with old Nash...not signing Phil when we had the chance which would have meant that Dwight stayed...

I will support a team when they TRY to win and not support them when they don't try. If they aren't putting your money toward winning they are putting it toward their hookers and vacations. I will watch the totally cluster**** of a front office dolphins cuz that guy will spend whatever it takes even if he doesnt know how to spend on. The Marlins purposely deceived the public with the help of the collusion of public officials, I would rather piss my pants than piss on Loria while he was on fire.
Lakers are actually a tough one. I can't tell if the Buss son and his front office is just completely indept, I just find it so hard to believe after being the son of the great Jerry Buss.

Boston and 76ers fans can do what they want (per not caring what other fans do necessarily) but the teams sucked first, then came up with this "plan" to still suck all your money without even trying to put a team together. How embarrassing to be a fan of a team that actually fight against the league for wanting teams to simply try and win.

Complete joke. Especially since the 76ers plan is about as good as our middle east plan.. never ending, never changing, never improving profits all around... regular joe decimated.

The problem with Jim Buss is that he doesn't know basketball. He's ambitious but also egotistical. He wants to forge a legacy which is fair enough but he's sacrificing the franchise to do so, e.g. choosing D'Antoni over Phil Jackson when we had Dwight

Not surprised. Bryant is always a top 3 talked about player on NBA twitter Pulse, even on nights he and the Lakers are not playing, even when someone like Lebron is heavy in the media and or a player has a phenomenal game.

Other than that, Lakers have a fantastic marketing team. The billion dollar TV deal helps too, but I used to live overseas and travel and it was like that. Shaq & Kobe was almost everywhere during there run, and when Kobe scored 81 it really did blow up. I can't even imagine how social media would've responded to that. His first championship without Shaq, remember those Kobe vs Lebron puppet stuff? It's of no surprise to me that in the US they are as popular of a team as they are in Asia/Europe/Canada, even now despite the team's record.
