What's so special about Payton?
Payton... is a player you have to watch to see how good he is. It's not always going to be on the box score.
For one he's the best perimeter defender out of really this whole draft class, best passing PG, and he's quick as hell. Exum got jerked off for having a quick first step, but Payton is quicker than him and has a knack for getting around the rim.

I like how Payton's adapted his drive so far as well, earlier this year he was getting blocked constantly but he's adjusting and being more effective. He really changes pace nicely too, he will look relaxed bringing the ball down but as soon as there's an opening he blows by. He still needs a jump shot though, doesn't have to be good but just good enough that people have to actually cover him on high pick and rolls.
