Would having two big personalities like Nate and JR concern you Meticode?
Just doesn't sound like a good idea to me :(

Hmm yes, a tiny chucker PG who can't play defense is exactly what the Cavs need :applause:

I don't understand why they are interested. He's an under-sized guard who chucks. Irving over-dribbles, LeBron at times will over-dribble, J.R. Smith chucks. We don't need anything Robinson is offering.

Absolutely.
Once Shumpert comes back and I assume he will slot into the starting SG position, then they will have JR to fill the sparkplug role off the bench.
I do not see how Nate would fit this team at all.
Perhaps Lebron fears him going back to Bulls with how he played against the Heat?

I'm beginning to wonder if the Cavs will even make it out of the first round

He's better than Delly.

Nate's an upgrade over Delly. Nate and JR on the same team. Both guys can carry their bench.

Upgrade over delly, everyone acting like it's a bad signing just like they did with jr.:facepalm look at jr right now, he s playing like he s the 2nd best on the team.

He's much better than delly, that's all that matters.

great shooter who has no problem camping at the 3pt line waiting for the pass on a lebron led team
obviously he's going to look better than somebody who likes to get the ball and create in the post, or on the perimeter on this team

Delly is suited for the role he needs to be. Robinson is not. Delly only has to do two things. Knock down threes and be a tough defender. He's usually decent at both of those things. While he's only shooting 32% from the field, he's shooting almost 41% from three this season.
Our problem has been with defense, Delly doesn't contribute to the bad defense presence on this team. Robinson would.

I seem to be in the minority here in thinking this makes the Cavs much better. When Nate plays good and gets hot, he lifts team moral. His passion is contagious.

I wouldn't mind it. We definitely need to upgrade the backup PG position. Delly has been flat-out awful the last few weeks. There are a lot worse moves out there than Nate Robinson.

I think you guys have made enough upgrades don't you think? :lol
I joke, I joke..
Nate would only hurt your team IMO. Adding two big personalities in the locker room along with Lebron's petulent ways is a mixture for disaster.
Why would you need Nate in a spark role when you have JR to fill that role when Shumpert inevitably slides into the SG starting spot?
Makes no sense, other than to prevent another team getting him.

Actually, the team has shown very little "attitude" on the court. Quite the opposite. They allow teams to run roughshod over them. They need someone out there who's going to lay it all on the floor. Nate may be a bit of a headcase, but he's a tough little guy who doesn't take sh!t from anyone.
We've been a little too "nice" this year... Kyrie, Love, Tristan, Matrix, Andy, Miller, Delly... Hell, even LeBron is buddy-buddy with the majority of the guys in the league.
There's a difference between being a primadonna and having an attitude. Nate has the kind of attitude that could actually help this team, imo.

You want that kind of "attitude", I'd think a Reggie Evans or Kendrick Perkins type of character comes to mind...I think Nate showed a toughness and grit playing for the Bulls, I'm not sure how he would perform in that volatile environment. Too many loose characters in the Cavs lockeroom now IMO.
For what your team needs, I don't see how Nate actually helps you on the court.
You certainly don't need anymore offense.
Oh I agree, Nate is not a primadonna. He might make a good towel-waver?
Not what you want for a roster spot though...

If you were paying attention, he had one standout game against the Heat.
Let's not get carried away and I love Nate.

Scoring off the bench has been a major issue for the Cavs since the start of the season and that was back when we had Waiters. Yes, JR Smith improves that aspect of the team, but he is not reliable every night. More importantly, we need someone who can play Delly's minutes because he has been killing us.
We have a good perimeter defender already on the roster. We're just waiting for him to get healthy. If we can add Robinson -- who I never really considered a team cancer despite his sometimes odd behavior -- while still filling the backup center position with a guy like Dalembert, I'm all for it.
And, both of those things are entirely possible. The active roster is still carrying guys like AJ Price, Joe Harris and Brendan Haywood. Any of those players could be deactivated without a problem.

Atleast Nate is a high character guy.
JR Smith has been there a week and he's already got Irving at the Scottsdale night clubs in the middle of big losing streak  :applause:
