Waiters is a very underrated talent. People often wondered what so many Cleveland fans saw in him. OKC fans will soon see.

I think a huge part of the negative views on him stem from the cavs "reaching" and taking him over Barnes and Robinson.

Dion was putting up really decent numbers last season after the break. The dude has been through 3 coaches in 3 years in cleveland and never had his role defined.

No. This really has nothing to do with getting Jackson away from Durant, but getting Waiters closer. This team is in a position where every regular season game is important now and getting there new guy acclimated as soon as possible is the best thing for them.
