I mean, he is dealing with incredibly immature professionalism from LeBron, and other players will follow what LeBron does..

This is not fair for Blatt.

Blatt seems like a cool guy. LeBron is a POS if these stories are true.

He signed before Lebron...so he never expected this level of diva. But if cavs start winning (which they will) things will improve. But if they flame out in playoffs his ass is fired.

I definitely feel bad for Blatt. Seems like a real nice guy. But Lebron is his own coach and does whatever he wants.

Blatt showed he had the capability of being the real leader when he told someone who was talking during a time out to shut the **** up.

Not many coaches have the balls to do that. I don't know why LeBron won't let Blatt do his ****ing job. Maybe Blatt would be good at it.

So telling somebody to shut the **** up means you are a good coach? :facepalm Good lord this place is full of morons. Blatt has been mediocre to say the least. His offense has no ball movement whatsoever, just predictable iso's and pick and rolls. I still have yet to hear anyone give an intelligent answer as to what makes Blatt a good coach. Being a "nice guy" and telling players to shut up doesn't make you a good coach.

Honestly hard to feel bad for a HEAD COACH in the NBA...

Not really. He was a no nonsense coach overseas and he seems to be a complete ***** in the NBA.

That said, the LeBron finger-point was one of the most contrived things I've ever seen. Has an NBA player ever cared about their image as much as LeBron does?

In the sense that he's the one thrown under the bus when the problems extend further than the coach. Yeah.

Not really. He should have done his research over the media circus and hoopla that is always tied to one LeBron James. Being the scapegoat in the event things don't materialize as expected, should have been merged into his contract, it was that obvious. Remember all the junk Spolestra put up with in 2011? Bron bumping into him, media calling for his head on a platter, etc...

It comes with the job of coaching this particular team...

IMO, he was basically telling everyone to STFU about the "rift" between him and Blatt.

Yeah, the whole rift thing was overstated (though I think it was partially true).

I just think he should have ignored it. Doing the finger point makes it seem like something was wrong, or at the very least he was worried people thought there was (when he shouldn't really care at all).

Man I swear you guys look too much into every little detail. LeBron is the only guy who can't give his coach respect after drawing up a solid play without being eaten up for it. First it's "Why doesn't he endorse blatt? Some leader he is". Then it's "He endorsed blatt... so contrived"

It's just another example of LeBron being criticized on here no matter what he does.

It's because LeBron has a history with coaches.

People might say, 'He pushed Blatt so he wouldn't get a technical', but there are two problems there:

1.) he shoulder bumped both Spo and Brown. There are countless articles and accounts on LeBron both trying to get Spo fired and LeBron expecting special treatment from Brown.

2.) maybe Blatt wanted to get a technical. Maybe he was trying to light a fire under his players. Why should any player think they have the authority to intervene with what the coach is doing? I haven't seen many others do it.

That's three incidents of contact with a coach and a history of being a power-hungry egomaniac.

Maybe LeBron got wind of the latest reports with Blatt, maybe he saw a graph made by his home-skillets of slipping shoe sales, and decided to give the coach his approval.

Nothing's out of the question with LeBron. He should just shut up and do his job. Don't touch your coach. Don't draw attention to his plays. Don't make stupid statements like "He's our coach, who else is gonna coach us?" etc.

What happened to 2012-13 LeBron, the guy who just played basketball? Why is he even giving us the chance to interpret what he's saying and doing? Duncan, Bird, Russell, Magic, even Jordan didn't. LeBron has put himself in that class (self-proclaimed top 4 GOAT). Expect to be held up to it. :confusedshrug:

He's the most talented player in NBA history. He dominates on the court in ways very few have. But he's a complete tool who rarely brings a mature, winning attitude to a team (something most other ATGs did).

End of rant.

Again, I just think you're reading way too much into this, and everything your saying is really based on conjecture. I could guarantee you that if Blatt got a technical in the instance, all the trolls would be saying "Why didn't LeBron step in and get him under control? Some leader he is"... and come on... you don't want to get a technical when you're down double digits in a game that should be winnable.

You consider all this stuff, but do you ever consider that perhaps LeBron was just happy that Blatt's play worked out and gave him appreciation for it? You're honestly trying to connect a lot of dots together to try to make a point over something so minuscule as a finger point. Plus 12-13 Bron did show Spo appreciation when they would have moments like that which won games

You basically want to see an emotionless robot play? That figures.

"Rarely brings a winning attitude"? For most of his career, the guy carried his teams to winning records.

Also, show me ONE article which can prove that LeBron tried to get Spo fired. No "multiple sauces" articles.

You're obsessed with what LeBron does or says. Stop reading too much into it. The media and people like you blow things way out of proportion.

Did those on here feeling bad for Blatt feel the same for Spo when Wade gave this answer 17 games into the 2010-11 season?

"Tim Reynolds, the Associated Press reporter covering the Heat, tweeted Monday what Wade said about Spoelstra:

"I'm not going to say he's my guy, but he's our coach ... Sometimes players and coaches get into disagreements."

http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2010/11/erik-spoelstra-lebron-james-bump/1#.VLr3RPldWdI

Were people saying Wade didn't respect Spo and that was a sure sign that Wade wanted him fired?

Did the OP cry for hours feeling bad for Spo cause Wade said what he said?

y should i feel sorry for a millionaire thats making good money and if he is let go by the cavs will more than likely get another to chance to coach in the nba somewhere down the line.

if lebron didnt come to cleveland this year the cavs record would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than it is now.

so u want me to feel sorry for a coach who is gonna have a pretty successful first season as a head coach.....i see at least 3 all-stars on the team..i see a playoff berth....second round exit at best.......first round sweep at worst......IM SUPPOSE TO FEEL SORRY FOR HIM BECAUSE OF THAT?
