View Full Version : How bad will Lebron look if he were to leave Cleveland Again?
sportsfan76

I mean he is constantly referred to as the best player on the planet so if that is true shouldn't he allow the front office to build around him? How pathetic would he look if he joined another team so he can get closer to another NBA Title? I would think it makes sense for him to just end his career in cleveland since he put that "Im coming home" speech out in the media.
I think we all can agree his legacy will be a JOKE if he leaves cleveland again.
Agree??

Why would he leave?
What team could he go to that has the talent cleveland has and has space for him?

He'd be considered a villain and would probably go down in history as the most hated sports figure ever.
Not just by Cleveland fans either.

He would just be considered a flip flopper and will be seen as a super team hopper. However I don't know another team with more talent to build around him.

I mean i wouldn't blame him 100%. He didn't have to go back to cleveland, he chose to come back even with the cavs not making the playoffs the previous years. If he left, it would be due to the front office not giving him the right pieces.

Don't you dare try and insert Kobe's name with those other 2 legends! Kobe has already talked about shutting it down for the season despite being completely healthy. THAT is much worse than jumping ship after giving it your all. I won't even bother getting into Kobe's failed trade request...

He'd be infamous forever maybe...long remembered after other players are fading memories. I'd do it just for that if I was him. It's more fun to be a villain than a hero anyway.

Hes going to the Knicks.
Melo Lebron and the #1 pick in NYC with a ton of cap space after the new NBA TV deal and Phil coaching the team.
He already has the legacy of leaving for super teams. This wont really change much.

Calling this year's Cavs squad a super team is almost just as big of a joke. Superteams are supposed to be able to win games without their best player, not go 1-8.

I totally agree with you, superteams are teams like Bulls who won 55 games without their best player and who could have won more than 60 games without injuries. Heat are under .500 without Lebron and Cavs 1-8.

1-8 without Lebron, for me, a stacked team should at worst scenario be over 0.500 without their best player.

there was nothing to hate lebron for in the past few days so ISH has come up with one more "what if" thread and will treat that "what if" scenario as a fact.

I don't need to be in the public eye like Lebron does though :oldlol:
Besides, I embrace it. I'd rather have the receding hairline where I have it, than having no hair on the top or a bald patch at the back.

So a bad slump without LeBron automatically turns the Cavs to trash even though they been average record wise with him? Kevin Love and Irving trash now?...You LeBron nut lickers bout to do the samething to Irving n Love that yawl did to Wade and Bosh....Smh, you lames won't be satisfied untill Cavs get the whole Eastern Conference All Star lineup:facepalm

Pretty much this. Lebron is back in MVP form and leading the Cavs to wins over contenders, so Kobe stans have to come up with a what if scenario to hate on him. Pretty pathetic.

Dude, write something useful for once please. All you do is make shit statement with no support, you use big words that mean nothing. The whole purpose of the stacked argument is to diminish Lebron's accomplishments in case he wins rings, by stacked they are implying the team is already great without Lebron. Now, if they are 1-8 without Lebron and if each time Lebron comes off the court the team struggles, that argument doesn't mean shit.
We heard that stacked argument for Miami each day, members promised us Heat would make the finals even without Lebron, they would be contenders without him, now, look at Miami. VERY STACKED!

I'd consider the Heat making playoffs voiding your argument altogether, which they look likely to do.
The Cavs team right now without lebron would make playoffs no question.

If 18-23 without their best player is considered stacked for you, what do you consider 55 wins without best player? SUPER DUPER STACKED?

Wade is another year older. Their players have gone to the finals 4 years in a row. You can expect them to be suffering the effects of a long campaign.
Bulls have always had a solid defensive system. Much like the spurs, any player goes out and they can remain competitive.
I thought you would understand the difference, but I guess you have to baby people on here and spell it out to them. :facepalm

This. Just because Lebron chose to sit out during their toughest stretch of the season while V was already out with a legit injury, doesn't mean this team wouldn't easily make the playoffs without him.

Didn't the Cav's just go 1-9 without LeBron?
Shump is constantly injured. Smith is...well, Smith. Mozgov is a decent role-player and nothing more. Thompson is a beast though. I still like Love, but he has to stop being a bitch. Love, Irving, and Thompson. Not a team that would make noise even in the East. Again, LeBron is what makes this team stacked as ****. Heck, with LeBron on the Heat, they would've probably won ~30 by now.
