I used Indeed and Job Bank a lot. Job Bank is set up by the Canadian Government though, I don't know what the American equivalent would be.

It also depends on where you live, what kind of industry.

I know you said 'board' but if I'm if you're looking for a job there are career fairs in bigger cities at various times of the year. My friends have gotten internships through tech career fairs in and around the city.
