That's weird, I just looked again and they added another rebound to Drummond :lol
I always knew Jennings was a beast from the start he just needs to be in the right system for him to succeed. A lot of players are way better than they seem (Jeremy Lin,Lance Stephenson,Zach Randolph), they just need to be in a system that fits them.

ESPN box scores are ridiculous lol, especially for NFL, where top performing QBs/RBs are decided by most yards and not efficiency.

WHAT? Thats crazy. Almost as crazy as the ESPN boxscore rating Drummonds game better than Jennings :biggums:.Insane-o stats everywhere. Drummond had 26 and 17 tonight. Monroe: 24 and 10. That's a combined 50 and 27 from the front line.
Not bad.

No, it wasn't against the Celtics and their usual FIVE HOFers,,,it was just the Pistons and their TWO. Oh, and their two centers measured 6-10...and likely would measure at over 6-11 in today's NBA (and both were taller than Drummond and DeAndre Jordan BTW.)

When Brandon Jennings is feeling generous, when he is in a pass first mood - he is absolutely brilliant. His vision and creativity is elite.
We just need him to play more like this, and less hero ball.
With Moose and Dre down low, Jennings should be averaging 9 - 10 apg.
Let's hope he keeps up the play / consistency, we are a very dangerous team when he is switched on...

This guy is so hot and cold. More hot than cold lately though, and I have him on my fantasy team... so I won't complain.Yep, makes him awfully polarizing as a result. People absolutely deplore him when he's playing poorly (raises hand) then people just love him when he's hot. From what I've seen of him, I'm still not sure those step backs and other seemingly bad shots will continue to fall like they have been, but it's tough to be critical of the results lately.
He just decimated Orlando's defense last night. I don't mean to take anything away from Jennings, but the Magic did very little to stop anything (final score was 128-118). Pistons basically pick & rolled them to death, with Jennings walking in for numerous baskets or dropping it off for an easy score.
Jennings has been killing other teams too, it's just Orlando's defense may have been the most porous of the bunch.

You're just jealous because Lebron dominates the ball just as much if not more and couldn't even get close to a statline like that his whole career.

When bad BJ comes back its not going to be good.Yeah, when bad Jennings swings back around, everyone will quickly jump off the wagon. He is the essence of hot and cold.
However, last night, it didn't really feel like he was dominating the rock. It had more to do with Orlando's lack of answer. Jennings more or less walked into the paint and either finished an easy layup or dropped the ball off to Monroe or Drummond for a relatively unmolested layup. Wide open spaces everywhere.

You do realize that you can't get a single assist, let alone 21, without letting your teammates touch the ball, right? He PASSED the ball to them so they could score, and he obviously did an excellent job of it. Plus he is a point guard, so he was just doing his job. Your point is mute.

It's kind of the way the SVG system has been working for us. Even when Jennings isn't in DJ Augustin is playing in a similar fashion.
Every play is basically a high screen and roll with the point guard penetrating towards the basket. Moose and Andre inside to get the pass or rebound, and 2 players out at the 3 point line ready to knock down the shot.
Augustin didn't have a good night, Jennings did. Jennings totally picked the magic apart.

I'm as skeptical as anyone but part of me thinks SVG might be getting to Jennings. He's doing a very good job of being pass first and running the offense. His TS% is up and he's playing a little more D(not a lot)

The entire starting line-up is Joe D's. The bench has only Jerebko from Joe D. (And Datome, but he isn't playing). The rest of the bench is SVG guys.

I said over 2/3rds at first and that was incorrect. Now just a touch over half.

Looking at boxscore you think the game was played on rookie. Sheesh. Props to Jennings tho. He's definitely a hot and cold guy. Hopefully he tries to stay hot more than his cold spells.
