"I've never thought about it, to be honest," Durant said of playing for the Wizards. "I mean, I hear it in the summertime. I heard it for the first time this summer. That's when it started heating up. I love playing for Oklahoma City, man. There's just a certain level of pride that I have when I play with that Oklahoma City on my chest.
"So that's the only thing I'm focused on. Everybody knows that I represent where I come from that no matter where I play at, no matter what arena. But I'm just focused on playing with Oklahoma City. It feels like home now. That's where I am."
Durant in Washington wont happen.
Unless he hates Westbrook and/or Scott Brook. Both untrue from what we know.
No excuses though.

You don't see many people, superstars or common folk in a big hurry to leave OKC. Great community, continually growing and building.

You've only had a team for a handful of years..they haven't had the chance to leave OKC in a hurry.....yet.

He also said in the postgame interview, "it's an honor and blessing to play in front of my friends and family at home (DC)".

One thing that's certain is he won't win a ring if he stays in OKC

Media just took this bullshit out of nowhere. Just because Bran came back to Cleveland (city he left in the first place) it doesn't mean KD should play in Washington.
That being said, all the teams will free up cap to make a offer for him when he becomes a FA. Brooks needs to go if OKC wants to win a ring and keep KD.

I honestly think KD will retire with OKC, especially if Westbrook re-ups.
Then again, cheapass OKC owners would probably trade him once he exits his prime for a couple of draft picks instead of paying him. :lol

This. I laugh so hard at people who actually think he is going to Washington. People compare it to Lebron all the time. They don't realise the scenarios are entirely different.

I think people, myself included, just think that if he doesn't win a title in the next two years... he's going to leave OKC. If that's what you believe, then the question becomes, where will he go?
D.C. is his home and already has an all-star back-court... and I'm sure they'll have the cap space waiting.

He's got the worst coach in the Western Conference and his team has been worse year after year. He has the right to complain or even leave, but he doesn't complain and probably won't leave.
Love his love for OKC, we don't see this kind of things in other superstars, but he needs to start putting some pressure on the front office in order to make this team better.
