Kerr pretty much copied Pop's formula and transposed it on the warriors.. I mean wasn't he on the spurs for 3-5 years?

99-01, then again in 03.

Ultimately I think talent overpowers coaching though. The Warriors are by far the most talented team in the league...which is why I find it odd that they can't seem to beat us. :confusedshrug:

All you need to do to a team like GS is be physical with them. Only thing is, due to today's weak league, there are no real physical teams anymore.

Dont be too upset about it. The spurs pretty much shit on everyone in the league. The only one they really fear is westbrook. Tony parker got that work last year my lord. GOATBROOK WE BELIEVE!

If that were true the 04 Lakers would have beaten the Pistons and the '12 Lakers with Nash/Dwight/Kobe/Gasol would have gone all the way

13 Lakers were injured all season long.

Kobe threw his team out of the Finals. Pistons had one of the 5 greatest defensive players of all time too.

And besides, it's not like Pop hasn't had his shit pushed by one of his 'guys' before. Avery skull-****ed him in 06.

I like Golden State's chances against any team when healthy (ie with Bogut in the lineup) though. Regular Season losses to the Spurs don't say a whole lot (I just like mentioning it).

What is this shit? The Warriors are one of the most physical teams in the league. Bogut, Green, Iggy, and Thompson overwhelm teams with their defensive aggression and physicality.

Take the mid-2000s Suns' offense and add defense to that team. Wallah! You got the current Warriors.

You didn't answer my question.

2nd highest point differential since the merger. To call them a pretender is just asinine.

Meh, three point shooting like the Warriors have make point differential silly.

I did answer the question. Spurs and OKC WCF.

Can't tell if you're trolling, but the Mavs lost in the first round 3 times in the 4 seasons before their 2011 championship run. The Pistons before their 2004 chip got out of the 2nd round 1 time in 12 years prior, where they got swept by the 49 win Nets.

You really gonna blame them for losing to the championship-level Spurs in 2013 and losing to the Clippers in 7 last year without their defensive anchor and arguable 2nd most important player?

lol, what? That doesn't even make sense first of all. Where are all of these other 3 pt shooting teams with historic point differentials?

A three point shooting team that is also 4th in points in paint and clearly the best defense in the league. Literally no basis for them being pretenders. What's their weakness?

Mavs run was a choke job by Lebron James.
Pistons drafted the GOAT the year prior.

Yes.

No.

He's trying to trick people into thinking he is a head coach. So I would say that he is a magician... But a bad one.

OKC better pray they don't get us in the first round. Only teams I fear come playoff time are the Grizz and Spurs. OKC and their ISO offense don't scare me.

No.

To even get to that 'choke job' they had to go through a tough Portland outfit, the defending champions and the Thunder with Durant, Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka...
